It really just takes practice, I have been welding for about 10 years now. got certified in 2007 to try for a job and didn't get it, not it expired lol.

I was welding again this past weekend
:undecided: When you do your V8 swap, will you have to fabricate new motor mounts?

I'm not sure yet. I think from what I have read it should drop in with the stock mounts. Or adapters not sure. I am a professional welder so it fine either wat

I read that the front is the same but I need the cross brace and tranny Mount from a v8 tb. Or I may just alter it myself.

I remember a couple of threads on the OS talking about how difficult it was to find OEM V8 motor mounts, and looking for compatibility with other vehicles. So there's some kinda difference, just no clue how different they are. I'm sure a lot of people would be interested to know what all mods are necessary to make that work.

ok but you could contact the seller and tell them what happened and they will likely refund your shipping costs. or you could file a claim and receive a complete refund. after 10 days I would have filed a claim anyway, they either have to refund your money or send out a replacement.

My shit is stolen. It went to an old address and they wont help get it back. They confirmed delivery to the house. I am trying to figure out if i should call cops and press charges, since the USPS will not do anything.

Hmm since USPS are not if any help I say try to contact the people at the address it was delivered to. If they claim ignorance of knowing where it is or are giving you a hard time, call the police and ask them what you should do

I sold them the house. I do not ever want to deal with those d-bags again. Too ignorant to bring ID or proof of citizenship to the closing....Really? Then at closing, you disclose you are not a citizen.... Lucky we made it through that day.

Prolly ought to file a police report. Was no big value. Just an old used ipod I was picking up to leave in truck. But the principal is that if something gets delivered to you incorrectly...you put return to sender or take it to post office.

I would never bother with a lawyer. There are free ways for justice if needed.

Damn man that sucks. I have had to situations like that. My mail lady in NC left a package by my mailbox, which was a 1/4 mile from my house, and someone picked it up. USPS and the seller said that they could not help me because the package was confirmed as delivered. Luckily my mail lady took ownership of the situation and wrote me a personal check for the price of whatever was in the package.

The other time, I had a package delivered to the wrong address that was in the wrong STATE  I had to contact the seller and they shipped me out a new package.

Long story short, FedEx, UPS, or USPS will not do anything if they have a delivery confirmation. Have to go straight to the seller. Filing a police report might not be a bad idea either considering they are already illegals

Seller did nothing wrong. EBay gave him my old address in a glitch I guess. He proved it.

Oh well. People always get what's coming

That's what I'm afraid of...
