Are you drunk buying parts for modding :rotfl:

LEDs will definitely set your ride off. I am surprised it took you this long to switch over from incandescent bulbs.

Forget the LED bulbs in the stock tails, but some LED tail lights or make some LED panels to put in there.

Did you buy any 6ohm 50w resistors?
No that was before we left the house. I do have several LEDs on my truck but now it will be all led on the exterior. The reverse and front turns are LEDs that are getting replaced because they are not very bright. I really don't like the look of aftermarket lights. I think Chevy did a great job on the tails so I will keep them.

You guys are funny about the whole secrecy thing

Trailz ..my friend you are in rare form this morning!! :rotfl:

It's not really a secret guys almost everything is listed on my profile. And I don't want to post incriminating pics and videos on a public forum. Have you seen any 4.2 TB'S that will run in excess of 130+ mph trailz? Some non judgmental members have seen the evidence just saying

Sorry but top speeds do not impress me. In fact I do not even know what a stock 4.2 will do. I honestly would have assumed 130 was fully doable stock. Mine will do 110+ on 35s.

I basically have all the same performance mods as BT other than cat delete according to his profile. I thought all those were fairly standard mods and I will agree they make the 4.2 step up and work quite well. I surprise a bunch of people.

Get the ones I have. They look OEM, same lens style and all that, but are LED.

I've had some head work done along with a couple of other little things.

Can you outrun a stock awd tbss? I don't think so....

Absolutely no desire to even try. I never say anything about my truck being fast or anything either. Its a 5000 lb truck not a sports car.

Can your TB drive through mud up to the headlights and then climb a rock face that many Jeeps cannot?

Well why are you bashing me for having a sport truck? Questioning the legitimacy of my mods? Some people here seem to think these trucks are slow or cant be fast, All I'm saying is its not true. We're all friends here. And I really like you and your truck bro

Each of us like our trucks to do or run a certain way, according to our own likings. Our rigs can be surprisingly nimble, or they can out do a Jeep on the trails. In the end both show that TB's possess potential on both ends of the spectrum.

I never once bashed you or your truck. I poke fun at the secrecy aspect. None of my mods are secret and I hope they inspire and help others. I believe you have mods...never stated you did not. I chuckle that you feel the need to skip over sharing and only allude to them...head work done along with a couple of other little things. Hell I bet they do work out really well and your truck is quick. I know these motors respond well to certain mods. I have no desire to have a v8 in mine other than sound. It does everything I could ask and more.

I know these trucks are far more capable than GM ever allowed them to be and our mods showcase what they really can be. I keep mine for a reason...as do most of us here. We realize what they are and what we have and what they can be. I am proud that my truck has inspired others, but in all honesty...part of me thinks it is junk. It has some shitty aspects for what I use it for, but the pros far outweigh the cons. Hell I did not want this platform at all when I bought it. It won me over though. Really won me over and I wish I had the money to buy Big Eds 5.3 sport truck Voy. It was the modded truck that made me first love this platform.

I do like what you have done with your truck. It is one nice smooth clean ride. I would own it in a heartbeat. I have not bad mouthed it or knocked it. I don't really question your mods. I am sure they are there and impressive. I just find the big secret deal intriguing and fun to poke at a bit. No offense intended.

I seen those after I bought my IPCW tails. Would have been an option if I seen them before making the purchase, plus they are cheaper than IPCW price wise.

I've always imagined how I'd mod a mountaineer [emoji14] Black out ALL the chrome trim, paint/Plastidip it black if it's not already, lower it, aftermarket wheels, HIDs, LEDs, custom exhaust, intake, lol I'll just stop the list goes on[emoji38]

Nice, I think blacking out any vehicle will improve it's look. I especially hate chrome. It's so tacky IMO.

Yea, I can't handle chrome pillars doors handles, mirror covers. I have faux chrome around the vents in my Voy and hate it. That's why they will be red

What's the difference between painted black and Plastidip black wheels? If you use the glossifier with it, it looks just like gloss black

I have said that for years. Hate the look. Screams spare tires or too cheap for aftermarket. Many including me were real surprised I ended up w my latest wheels.

I would paint match my wheels white before going black...in fact I did at one point.

My stock Dipped wheels look pretty good, may put them on if the winter gets crappy down here in GA, but doubtful

Sorry but those are what I think looks like ghetto spares. I much prefer stock to that look. I don't think custom...I think cheap.

Your ones on now are sweet though.
