I would guess mine is bout there. It will rattle everything pretty good if I want it to but I like quality over volume.

Hate when all someone has is bass

I agree, I invest a lot more in my mids and highs than i do subs. I am getting ready to install a 4 channel amp for all my mids and highs, just waiting to get the head unit i want. I am getting one of the new Android 4.2 head units.

I was planning on getting a double din unit but now i am thinking about getting a flip out because the viewing angle will be much better.

Single Din

Double Din

Not necessarily these exact units, but something like them at least. I want to Run Dash Command on it. I am currently using a 7" tablet and I love the set up.

Which one are you looking at?

That Android double din looks badass. I seen it said you can use it as a wifi hotspot once you connect a 3g dongle, what is the dongle? Pretty sweet it comes with a backup camera.

I could also run my torque app and pandora. I can use my smart phone as a wifi hot spot, but I only get edge around Martinsburg, not much 4g.

I'm not sure what it is referring too but i think it would be an air card. I would just use my phone as a hot spot if i needed to do updates or download apps. I would really only plan on using it for music and Dash Command. If i got an air card i could see watching netflix on it when the kids are with me or traveling, because i will be putting monitor in the headrests as well. but I have been considering putting a separate system in the back, with a single din dvd player and IR headphones, or i may do another PS2 in the back. that way i could listen to my stuff and they could play games or whatever. I could even put in a small control panel and have a separate dvd player and ps2 and a selector system to wither play all three separately, front player on all 3, etc.... lots of possibilities.....

I do have a spare 7" touchscreen to play with...hmm

Ps2 in the back for the kids would be pretty sweet.

Forgot about the Netflix and Hulu app. Would be nice to watch movies on road trips.

Thats pretty sweet. Good way to keep the kids entertained. I doubt I would ever need a game system in the TB. Maybe there will be some cyber Monday deals for android double dins. Need to start researching on what I want.

I had the PS2 in the honda before i ever even had kids HAHA

I used to go to car shows all the time and after several hours you get bored so i would sit around playing video games all day until the judging was finished.

also lunch time gaming with co-workers. and if someone else was driving it was badass to play nascar racing while moving in the car

I had 2 screens in the visors, 2 in the headrests, and 2 in the trunk lid  lmao

I would love to convince the wife to ditch the minivan and get a conversion van so I could post in a Wii with all the old nintendo games and sit in the back with the kids and play that while she drove.

Sweet action. I had some guy with a Jeep comparing his lil XJ to my truck. His lil 31 inch tires that rubbed and half busted stock lighting and couple tractor lights screwed to his plastic bumper. I flipped on the underbelly leds, the interior leds, and the led lightbar and he quit trying to compare and went the route of wanting advice...

:iagree:

OK so a partial fail on the LED's, the 1157 bulbs are perfect and work PNP, The 3157 bulbs are wired completely wrong from the factory. So I took those 2 bulbs apart and re soldered the pins to a factory 3157 configuration only to find out that the 2 bulbs were switchbacks. Wtf, now I'm just going to get 2 1157 bulb replacements and swap the other 2 sockets to match. Can't have 2 switchback LEDs and 2 regular in my quad tails. Why list these bulbs as 3157 if they have them wired differently?? Idiots

Did you get the CK configuration or different?

They didn't specify and neither do the old school glass bulbs? they just say 3157. I changed the bulbs to the ck configuration in the above photo (although i didn't look it up online) and then found out that this one set of bulbs are switchbacks. they are sending me more.

Strange that they did not specify switchbacks or whether it was CK in the description. Would look kind of goofy with an amber behind a red lens.

Glass bulbs don't care if the socket is wired CK or not. It used to be a non-issue until LEDs.

I really wish that they didn't come up with an alternative way to wire the sockets. So irritating.

This was a red on red switchback? I have no idea why. Also I have some LED's that Aaron gave me that worked just fine and they just said 3157 on them as well.

:iagree: It was pretty easy to rewire the bulbs. but it is still very stupid to have 2 configurations for the "same" bulb.

Describe the flash pattern and normal on... Red on red switchback? never heard of that lol
Yeah same here. Red on Red switchbacks does not make any sense since there is no switching of colors :undecided:

I have seen amber/white, red/white, and amber/red LED switchbacks. Do you have a link to the LEDs?

Seems like red on red switchback would be normal operation.. Stays on when in running mode then flashes red in flash mode..sounds right to me lol.

I think they used the wrong boards when making them. No they are not right, they are supposed to stay lit and just get brighter with the turn signal. That's how all the other ones work. The front 3157 just plugged right in and worked they are amber on amber.

Yes, but when you turned off the turn signal the other part lit back up. Stupid....
:undecided: If you have quad tails, then how would you differentiate between brakes and turn signal, if the flashing did not turn the lights off between flashes if you're stopped?

I'm with you on the turn signal function while the parking lights are on, the part I'm not following is how you expect them to work when you're stopped (brake lights are on) and you also have your turn signal on. With your logic, there will be no difference between the intensity of the lights from either function. Only option I see, is for the light to turn off between turn signal flashes, which it sounds like they do, but you don't want it...
