Let's bring it up to a more positive tone again.

Note: Contains some s-bombs and perhaps a couple other bad words.

Dude, that ad was like if Hollywood took one of their long sad tear-jerker movies and distilled it down to about 60 seconds.

I saw the video a while ago, but a member recently got into a wreck because someone pulled out in front of him. Not that he was speeding, but that the other guy MADE A MISTAKE, and now he has to PAY FOR THE OTHER GUY'S MISTAKE. Ten years ago I wouldn't have watched this. Don't be someone's "mistake".

Switch gears... Youtube BAD MotherF... by biting elbows. Language. Awesome GoPro video.

I love those guys videos. I like the one where they busted the myth on cold air intakes (CAI) or as we call them around here hot air intakes (HAI). They even ran the intake tube outside of the engine bay and put it infront of a large fan while the GT-R was on a dyno with no change in HP.

I get the theory behind CAI but I don't think there's a big enough temperature difference as long as the intake is appropriately-placed (as in not sucking on the radiator or something) to post positive results. A better test would be to suck in some air that's heated to say 150 degrees or something, vs. something refrigerated, like 0-fahrenheit. I wonder if that would yield any result (while of course outside the bounds of standard driving). I guess people also don't realize our atmosphere is not even 50% oxygen. Typically it's 21% or so (varies a little of course), so the gains aren't going to be that much more anyway. Actual calculated figures on air density at sea level - 150 degrees fahrenheit (way more than a modern car is pulling in) - 0.0647 lbm/cu. ft. 0 degrees fahrenheit - 0.0858 lbm/cu. ft.

But when you take 21% of that, the OXYGEN density is 0.013587 at 150, 0.018018, so you're scrounging (in extreme temperature difference scenarios beyond the scope of a CAI) an extra .005 pounds of oxygen per cubic foot inducted. DAT 50 HORSEPOWER! Note these calculations done also with 0% humidity, greater humidity reduces actual air per cubic foot obviously. People can't seriously tell me they feel the boost - it's likely their old system was garbled down with goofy turns and stuff, and a CAI pipe does allow air to flow more freely (in some cases). It's like saying they feel less out of breath breathing oxygen that's twenty degrees less, because SO MUCH MORE OXYGEN! Rant over.

More science!

I want to do this, but through a drive-thru. Train the dog to both remit payment, and receive the goods.

Random? Like you have a bunch of these laying around?

Well done. I can't seem to stop driving, let alone bring a video cam, when the conditions get "inclement".

This is one elevator ride I would not want to take :rotfl:

I feel more refined just watching this.

About 2 minutes in, I had developed a high-British accent.

By about 4 minutes, a tophat and monocle had appeared on me without me even noticing.

By about 7 minutes, the previous accoutrement was paired up with a marvelous tuxedo, cane, and handlebar moustache.

I completed the video. The assistant that appeared as part of my entourage is now typing this for me while I light Cuban cigars with a solid gold lighter, which burns a special oil made from saffron to perfume my luxurious indulgences wondrously.

Pardon me, would you have any Gray Poupon?

Nay, I have nary a drop of grey poupon for a pauper such as yourself! :raspberry:

But I do have more videos. Because on YouTube you can learn literally anything.

I think 3:20 in particular, and a close second at 4:45, speaks to some of us in our job stresses.

Even better. Contains the two snippets I mentioned in the previous post, plus a bunch of other whacky clips like it.

Toward the end of the clip the kid really makes a fool of himself (as if the rice sound doesn't already) :rotfl:

:duh: Why would you drive something like that, in an area like that in the first place? :dunce:

Four wheel drive lifted wrecker :thumbsup:

Two wheel drive ricer off-road :raspberry: :raspberry:

I'd have doubts about going down there with my 4WD Envoy because of the Destination LE2's. If I had the A/T's it would probably be a piece of cake.

Beautiful country though.

Who rices out a Honda Element and takes it off-road :rotfl:. Guess it was too much for the DOHC VTEC. Those slicks did not help his situation either.

I agree with roadie, I doubt our TB/Envoy would have any issues making it in or out of there especially after I have seen what mine can handle this winter.

Back when my Envoy was bone stock and running on the street radials that came on it when I got it, I took it through worse terrain than that with no problems. Even with street tires, TBs and Envoys go well off-road, and they're darn near unstoppable with the right tires.

Well in that case, look out world; here I come!
