Nice lights, is that a spoiler???

Thanks, and yes it's a spoiler, he's got one of those hard bed covers on it, couldn't tell if the spoiler was part of that or separate. The truck looked pretty nice actually. He had some chrome rims on it, 20"s I would guess from when we made the left turn. He had HIDs in his low beams too.

Was watching Transformers: Dark of the Moon, and during the highway chase sequence, I noticed a TBSS (before it got wrecked :sadcry:)

I guess that's what happens when you watch a movie while trolling the forums at the same time

Seems odd they'd choose the TBSS for that vs a regular TB

Most of those vehicles were from people who allowed them to use it for filming. Alot of those crashes are CGI, except for a few. That scene was the one where the girl was nearly killed by a flying cable.

That and there is a Saab 9-7x that gets wrecked towards the end of the movie too. If i can get a screenshot I will post it.

 I thought I saw that too, wasn't sure if it was a 9-7x or a Bravada.

My first real life sighting of the new Tahoe. It's not terrible, but I can't say I'm too impressed to be honest.

Bingo - Look at the rear end of the Nissan SUV at the left of the pic and then look toward the back of the new Tahoe. Too similar to too many other things for my tastes.

Sweet, but does the cereal box on wheels come in a Lucky Charms edition? :rotfl:

No, but for a slight price difference the Captain Crunch edition is offered as a dealer package.

I think it may be part of a trend. Back in ye olde times there were vehicles that looked alike, but plenty that went out of their way to set themselves apart. I think now the transition is being made or has been made where instead of distinction through exterior design, it's all about the feature list and the overall size of the vehicle. Not a lot of models are designed to stand out and say "Hey, look at this!" It's just following the common "fashion" now. And some of what tries setting itself apart fails horribly - take a look at the Nissan Juke. I've also seen the new Grand Cherokee on Route 16 almost every day this week - the DRLs look like someone squinting to find their glasses. It's all shades of ugly now.

I started taking a different route to work in the mornings, and haven't gotten used to my new road neighbors yet. Decided to let this guy in an TBLT cut in when a 2 lane street turned into a single lane, with right hand turn lane. I could see chrome mirror caps and chrome door handles, which aren't bad. Then when he straightened up, I saw the Chevrolet debage, replaced with a "pimpin" rebadge. :rotfl:

Followed this ext through town and to the school while dropping off my two oldest kids and back down the hill. She probably thought I was a creeper so I took the long way back to the house. Drove by the house and to the carwash again.

Wash? Picture for contest #25? Ends soon!

Some random GMt shots I had floating around.

Hi All,
I have only owned my Envoy SLT for about a month and a half and I really enjoy it. I have noticed when I park at the grocery store, Walmart, Target, etc that usually when I leave either another TB or Envoy is parked near me. Either directly next to me, across or diagonal. It hasn't happened once or twice, I'm talking 10 to 15 at least. I find I also do the same though. What's up with that?? Have you folks experienced this too??

I have noticed it, but I also tend to look for the GMTs in parking lots. Park next to them and maybe see if they are a member here or have any mods. I usually go with "The Roadie Method" to determine if someone is an enthusiast, which is whether they have hacked off the resonator (Trash Can) or not. I believe this was my second mod, right after HIDs.

Make sure you take pics next time. We have a thread http://gmtnation.com/forums/topic/3167-what-did-you-park-beside-or-parked-beside-you/page-11 and you can post pics here.

Sure, I have a few pics floating around:

This is the day I picked it up:

Here is the giant dent that was in the passenger door. I managed to push most of it out myself, my guy at work is going to finish and repaint for me soon:

And another, might have to look into removing the trash can / resonator!! :undecided:

Will get some better pics up soon. Cheers!
Adam

This is the V8 Buick I see directly out my window. Saw this heading to lunch. At least the same colored TB across pulls straight in as to not have his resonator get hung up.

Still haven't seen the driver. I hope he/she saw me take this picture.
