Anybody got any tips of how to remove the outer seal on the disconnect? I have a new seal and it looks like it's threaded so I'm assuming the old one is threaded to be it don't see obvious spots to unscrew it. Sorry for the tech question in the whore thread.
 
I used a regular old seal puller. It isn't threaded.

In the past I've also used drywall screws and drilled into the seal and used a lineman to pull on the screws. Gotta be careful not to scratch anything though.

I know it's the whore board, but it also seems to be the most active. I posted this onto the page I started last week on Facebook. Feel free to join and share through your networks.

July 4th - Independence Day for the United States of America. Take a few minutes during your celebrations and remember who provides our freedoms. When you think of soldiers, don't forget the people many of them have to leave to fight the battles at home: spouses, children, parents, and siblings.

Wives or husbands at home take on all the duties of the house, the kids, and probably more worry than any of us could ever imagine.

Very young kids just see Mommy or Daddy isn't home; older kids hear of the fighting on the battlefield.

I can imagine the pride of a parent, but not the emotion of not knowing details.

These people give a lot more than most people will ever understand. They give our fighting forces the security of home when the soldier isn't there.

If you see a soldier or veteran with their family, don't hesitate to thank all of them.
