Still have to aim them too. I'm assuming the screws around the side of the hole where the bulb goes in are set screws? So taking a torx driver to one of them should aim the bulb down, correct?

Well the post whores are joined with glee by ....Me :biggrin:

I just drove a fantastic truck tonight. My Trailblazer. :thumbsup:

I had to take the 'Lade in for a brake job and asked the kid if I could use the truck:tongue: Of course I got the "ya but fill it up" answer. So I drove it to work and wow ..... now I remember why I bought that thing. What a great ride. I miss the jump of the 6.2 in the Lade but the Trailblazer is such a pleasure to drive. 172k kilometers and smooth as silk.

Thought I would pop in and say Hi!

Good start to the day :)
Buddy brought over a Lancer he just bought, and we had a little driveway party working on cars and what not. He fixed up a few things on his, and I finally took the time to wire in a relay for my roof lights.

Yeah, I had an audio shop wire them at first (poor decision). Upgraded the bulbs and wires started melting, so I went back down to 35W lights, and the wires were still hot, but not burning. Realized they didn't even have a relay, they just wired the lights to the switch to the power. One of the lights still gets a little hot, so I'm not going to put the 55Ws back in until I look a little closer, but yes, a decent accomplishment for the morning.

From all the posts and stories I've heard most audio shops are not very good. :undecided:

I know of some really good ones, but they are not cheap. If the place seems too cheap...do it yourself cause they are likely cutting corners.

:iagree: You will pay for a real good place to do an install, but it will be worth the money spent not to have a hack job done on your electrical system.

Hell I am in a good mood cause of Friday even knowing I have to go home and fix our HVAC tonight. Hopefully it is only a capacitor, but it is Friday so if that does not fix it...I can drown the sorrows in COLD BEER!

He stopped by to remind me of an evening fire tonight with other neighbours, he was off today and got bored I guess. Neighbourhood is an alcoholic community. :biggrin: Some drink beer, others rum or whiskey. Most of the wives drink wine.
