I hear ya Blazing. I put up a detailed post on the West board and not one response in months. I even said I'd do a bunch of the legwork and logistics. No one.

I like prime meat seasoned, too. But yeah, prime meet season. I put the note up in March. Not sure if folks are looking at them. I haven't checked, but is there a way to sort members by location or just state? I'd take the time to ... (ok, just checked)...

I see I can search by name of location. So I searched for California. Got 2 pages. Searched for CA (which also includes Canada, eh) and got 28 pages. And if I want to send out invites, it's recipient and up to 5 additional.

Anyone with more experience got suggestions to get the post seen or who might have contacts / friends / followers to make something happen? I'm in Oakland. For those not familiar with the map, it's 2 minutes from San Francisco. I was thinking of some place like Vallejo, CA. It's about 30 minutes north of here, and they are a very car friendly town. They have a closed Navy base that I'm betting we could use. About an hour from Sacramento, 2.5 hours from Reno or Lake Tahoe. Lots of little and big hotels in the area, 30 minutes to Napa wine country, 10 minutes to 6 Flags Marine World, right on Rte 80. (I'm posting this last paragraph as a reply to my post).
