From the way it sounded it might be the 3.0...but i will def double check that if i do end up buying it. The seller is a bit hard to understand language wise.

Ours was loaded Eddie Bauer. Dad bought it new in 91 and I still have luggage it came with. Was a great van but my wife only wants caravans...

This one is a Sport...well whats left of a Sport since as you guys can see its missing some of the Sport only parts lol...When i asked the owner what engine it had he said he thought it was a 3.5....so he could either be thinking its a 3.0 or the 4.0...Like i said i will check which it has if i buy it.

Yes!!! There is a sweet ass overland type Van like that, that the civilian Range Control people use here at Ft.Stewart. Was the sickest Van i've ever seen.

Unibody that uses suspension and drivetrain components from the Ranger/Bronco II/Explorer Basically it has a frame/unibody shell similar to the Jeep Cherokee and Chevy Astro vans

More then likely is doable. Considering that Ford did build an AWD version of the Areostar just like GM had the AWD Astro. Kinda looking into what it would take to build my full size GM van into a 4x4..but it isnt looking that pretty...so at most that one will most likely get spring spacers of some sort in the front and possibly rear shackles to give it a bit more height and rock some 30" all terrain tires.

Another one.... Why so many vehicle
Mainly because i keep running into small issues with the Blazer that are a by product of rushing it into service when i did. And its getting to the point that some of them are requiring downtime i cannot give it atm unless i get another vehicle. The VW didnt pan out due to blown headgasket and engine being in worse shape then initially thought.

Gotcha. In your line of work, I guess you would need a reliable vehicle.

That and a back up in case of Shtf....like what happened this morning i needed to take 3 hours off of todays shift to get the Blazer sorted out. Had i had that van or the Vw kicking around i would have just jumped into that and worked then delt with the Blazer over the weekend.

Here is what I found this morning on the blazer...

Yea...Scary part? I only installed that Rotor and brake pad set in august! I was only able to change the right side this morning and will be dealing with the left side on sunday...fortunately i know the left side has a bit more life left in it so i should be fine till then.

Those vans often had the seats in the back that folded into a double bed. I almost bought one, but the seller was telling me 150K miles on it and if that was a 150K vehicle then it was the hardest 150K miles ever seen. I had driven a few and they rode soft, no surprises in the power department (no real power, but it could haul all your stuff and get you wherever you needed to go). If i didn't buy an Explorer I would have grabbed one of these or an Astro.

If it's the right price and CarFax comes back ok, grab it.
