From the way it sounded it might be the 3.0...but i will def double check that if i do end up buying it. The seller is a bit hard to understand language wise.HARDTRAILZ said:4.0?. I used to drift ours with the limited slip and 4.0. Was kinda fun
Oh really now?Capote said:I gotta say Chris, that has you written all over it lol
Yes, it'll go nicely with the mix match of vehicles you got lying in waitDarkrider_LS said:Oh really now?
This one is a Sport...well whats left of a Sport since as you guys can see its missing some of the Sport only parts lol...When i asked the owner what engine it had he said he thought it was a 3.5....so he could either be thinking its a 3.0 or the 4.0...Like i said i will check which it has if i buy it.HARDTRAILZ said:Ours was loaded Eddie Bauer. Dad bought it new in 91 and I still have luggage it came with. Was a great van but my wife only wants caravans...
Yes!!! There is a sweet ass overland type Van like that, that the civilian Range Control people use here at Ft.Stewart. Was the sickest Van i've ever seen.HARDTRAILZ said:Explorer frame I think. Make it 4x4 and overland it
Unibody that uses suspension and drivetrain components from the Ranger/Bronco II/Explorer Basically it has a frame/unibody shell similar to the Jeep Cherokee and Chevy Astro vansHARDTRAILZ said:Explorer frame I think. Make it 4x4 and overland it
We have one here as well that was done up by a local Accessory ShopHARDTRAILZ said:We got an Ateam copy van rolling around town.
More then likely is doable. Considering that Ford did build an AWD version of the Areostar just like GM had the AWD Astro. Kinda looking into what it would take to build my full size GM van into a 4x4..but it isnt looking that pretty...so at most that one will most likely get spring spacers of some sort in the front and possibly rear shackles to give it a bit more height and rock some 30" all terrain tires.HARDTRAILZ said:I know you can use s10 stuff n get a sweet 4x4 astro so it should be fully doable with a ferd
Another one.... Why so many vehicleDarkrider_LS said:Possible Beater...

Mainly because i keep running into small issues with the Blazer that are a by product of rushing it into service when i did. And its getting to the point that some of them are requiring downtime i cannot give it atm unless i get another vehicle. The VW didnt pan out due to blown headgasket and engine being in worse shape then initially thought.dmanns67 said:Another one.... Why so many vehicle
Gotcha. In your line of work, I guess you would need a reliable vehicle.Darkrider_LS said:Mainly because i keep running into small issues with the Blazer that are a by product of rushing it into service when i did. Yea...Scary part? I only installed that Rotor and brake pad set in august! I was only able to change the right side this morning and will be dealing with the left side on sunday...fortunately i know the left side has a bit more life left in it so i should be fine till then.Capote said:Dear god...
