Yea but there are off brand ones that I would guess would work as well.Mounce said:Mini h1's are the only ones that the mini gatlings will fit on.
Preference. The oem ones you have to cut and reseal if I recall correctly they are all like this, perma-sealed. Some after market ones are sealed with butyl rubber and you can heat them at a low temperature in an oven and simply pry them open. Once there there really isn't any difference unless the aftermarket ones are really cheap, in which case the adjusters may fall off the bowl with the added weight and cause issues. I went with the aftermarket ones since it seemed a bit easier. All depends on how much work you want to do though. Doubt anyone has put projectors in one...at least I've never seen it. You should be able to fit a decent projector in there though by the looks of the headlight. Here's a pic where someone went the plug and play routeTiggerr said:Looks great! Has anyone done a Rainier projector mod out there? Want to do projector/HID on mine.
Do what most of us do and buy a spare aftermarket set of headlights. One, you can take your time on the retro since you still have headlights to use. Two, aftermarket headlights are not permasealed. Permasealed headlights have to be cut open with a dremel. Most aftermarket headlights are sealed with butyl which can be baked open in an oven at around 225°F for 10-15 min.Tiggerr said:I was thinking there's plenty of room for them... Leary of chopping on my lights lol... Want to do led drl across the top too there the marker is over the headlight
It's a Buick... Lol. Did you really think they would be priced as cheap as the ls tb lights? Haha.Mounce said:Holy sh!t they're expensive lol. Looking at around $280 for a set.
