Hahahaha

Yeah of course. As a matter of fact we did the steering wheel controls yesterday. He's really happy although the volume and seek controls are not functioning for some reason.

Yesterday I installed the DRL/Perimeter Lighting Cap Mod. This was my first solder mod i.e. Did the cap and wires! Grounded it to the retaining bolt of the rear fuse box, other leg on the Pink Wire in the white plug. Boom! HIDs no longer flicker when I unlock the truck at night. :woohoo:

Since then I completed a LED strip mod for my side mirror turn signal lens. Took measurements and cut Led strip to fill the perimeter of the turn signal lens. I wanted it to be visible from both sides i.e. Front and back. I used a white strip for this and I think it turned out great! My turn signals are finally visible in the morning! One side is whiter than the other. I am guessing its because of the lens quality. Bothers me sometimes when I turn the hazards on. Other than that I am loving them

I had planned to install some kind of wireless charger in my car similar to the option in the newer Tahoes and Yukons. I had originally thought about trimming the centre console to have a neat flush finish. But I wasn't going to take the risk without a backup, hence I just installed the charger over the centre console lid and added a seatbelt that can keep both the charging plate and my phone in place while I drive. Thats a tough job depending on the way i drive but I think it went quite well

Also finally got around to painting my brake calipers! I really really wanted to do this for a while now. All I can say is I am really happy with the result and was totally worth the three days of hard work!

And of most recently did the led conversion for my dash. I did the Intrument Cluster, Lights switch and rear wiper switch. Its not really good at day time but superb in the night time. Although I expected it to be brighter! There's always v 2.0. For now I am enjoying it

P.S Pictures will be a while in the coming. My computer is going berserk with all these images. Talk about teasers

Well got back to work today. Couldn't wait . First some maintenance work, had my rear wiper blade stolen I guess :hissyfit:. So got around to installing a new one my Dad had gotten for me. Didn't take a picture after I got it on :duh:

WP_20170322_09_13_45_Procompressed.jpg

Edit: Here's the wiper blade installed

WP_20170323_10_00_15_Procompressed.jpg

Next I got my GMTNation cut out and ready to go on the TB. However I found out that it isn't waterproof :hissyfit:!!! So had to add a layer of book cover film for now until I figure out a better solution.

WP_20170322_14_47_58_Procompressed.jpg

Also cleaned up my GM Badges of excellence, now to get some Trailblazer script writing

Spray it down with a clear coat spray. Do thin layers. That should seal the ink on the decal up.

Nice. Would that be something I'd be able to easily find at say a stationary store??

Now I am a bit mixed up about where to stick it. It will be the rear glass, but can't decide where. Help:mad::2thumbsup:

Edit: Went down to our local hardware store and found these:

Is this what I'm supposed to be buying

Good choice. I had one like that until it grew legs and walked out on me. Worked well with Torque and Car Gauge Pro.

Haha!! I checked a lot before I bought it, there is also another one called version 2, it's cheaper but is very unreliable, hence I went with this one. Already have the app installed, now I am waiting impatiently for next week

Been quite stale around the TB. As I said its in maintenance mode . Still gotta buy new spark plugs and install them in the truck. Other than that, the OBDII scanner arrived works perfectly with my TB, dunno why it doesn't work on my dads Yukon though. Could be a profile thing?? Other than that, bought a new sunshade for my car, my old one had overdone it's expiry date. I also bought the Meguiars Interior Detailer, got tired of using the cheap one I bought before, so will be using it today hopefully. Other than that its the same enemy of every modder, CASH. Really low on my mod funds :sadcry:, but a real modder doesn't stop when the going gets though, so I have a mod I am working on, let's see what it comes out to be :2thumbsup:

Yeah, I think that's to use it with an iPhone. However it works great. The app on my phone is awesome as well. Can get all live sensor data, code checks, clear the CEL. Can't complain much about it for the price I got it for. Just didn't work when I tried it on my Dads Yukon. Could be the app settings though.

Just finished my wireless car charger mod, it's something . So I am quite happy with the way it turned out. There is always room for improvement that's for sure.

Nothing ground breaking recently. But got all my brake lights working again, greased the underbody and doors of the TB. Started planning for the retrofit on my TB. Blacked out the steering bowie and also got a new sticker made for the TB. This ones waterproof and all the good stuff
