A full tank on my ext is about $150_160.
You guys get it almost for free.
only 3.78 litres per gallon. $1.09 X 3.78 = $4.12 gallon, ya that's pretty cheap.Purefection said:$1.099 Canadian per litre. 4 litres per gallon. You do the math. This is the cheapest in a while.
Part of it is probably from the forecasting Goldman Sachs gave it.BlazingTrails said:Down to $2.95 for 87 octane
$3.10 for 89 Octane
Should be happy about this but i'm not, according to oil prices right now our gasoline should be around .97 per gallon.

Finding premium makes sense to me. I'm a single guy with no kids so I can't rack up very good grocery store points. I have a .05 per $50 spent at a store near me. I might spend that per week, but usually don't. My parents go to a Kroger store and buy gift cards for Home Depot to rack up fuel points.dmanns67 said:I mainly use the Gas Buddy app when I am on road trips and I am looking for 93 octane since I have a tune.
Initially when I moved to WV, I used it a lot to figure out where the closest gas stations were to my new house and who had the cheapest price for 93. Now that I have lived here for a couple years, I figured out that the cheap gas is in Maryland. Since I work in MD, I fill up at the station right outside of my plant.
I agree that it does not make much sense to use 1-2 gallons of gas just to save $.05-$.10 per gallon. I hope people would be smart enough to not drive 18-36 miles just to fill up their vehicle unless it was on the way to or from work.
Grocery gas points is where its at. I save $.10 off per gallon for every $100 I spend at the store. That is for everything within the store.
12-15 cents more per gallon? Wow. I used gas buddy periodically to look around my area, but I don't have those ranges. Everything near me is close to the same. I could understand your situation.KNBlazer said:I pump at Costco and drive 8 miles round trip that are out of my way to save about $5.00 per fill up of 22 gallons on average of reg unleaded 87... I fill up about 5-6 times a month... The Costco that is in the path of my daily commute typically is about 12-15 cents more per gallon... My closest gas station that has good prices and that I pump fuel from time to time is a Chevron and typically that station has fuel about 25 cents more per gallon than the Costco that is out of my way... Savings do add up...
I remember going to Dubuque, Iowa, and there was a gas station that had an extra pump around the back that had something like 101 or 103. It was racing fuel meant to be used in engines built to require this level of octane for the stock car races and whatnot being held around the area. It was also like $6-7 a gallon.dmanns67 said:I mainly use the Gas Buddy app when I am on road trips and I am looking for 93 octane since I have a tune.

We had a gad station like that in Middletown, Ohio. They sold 103 I believe, but it was like $4-$5 dollars a gallon. This was back in like 2001-2002. Not a big deal since my Civic only had an 11 gallon tank.IllogicTC said:I remember going to Dubuque, Iowa, and there was a gas station that had an extra pump around the back that had something like 101 or 103. I usually stick to Top Tier stations now but recently filled at one that wasn't a Top since I forgot before heading to town. The place I pulled up to was selling 87 at $2.99. I went with 89 for $3.09 because whatever, why not?
