I got to thinking and wondering about the plant where our trucks were built and found this HBO documentary on the closing of the Moraine Ohio plant in 2008 called "The last truck: Closing of a GM plant". Although interesting to see where they were built, it was quite sad to see how the people were affected by this closing. They were quite proud to have put out a quality product, even while they knew they were losing their jobs just before Christmas.

I remember watching that years ago. Prolly should give it another go.

The last truck was a white envoy denali 4x4. It was signed all over the chassis by the assembly line workers. Wonder who owns it now.

This news report (at 4:20) says that it is still in Dayton, owned by the ICWUA (I guess, the union).
