Craigslist, Marketplace, Kijiji morons

able to tow 3500lbs
It's actually rated to tow a lot more than that, like 6300 lbs.

At 229k a ton seems a tad much...
If it was well taken care of like he says, it could last much longer however, the fact that the pump is leaking, meaning it rusted through, the body and frame may be in the same state.

Just an error in terminology probably. At least they weren't break pads. That one is getting to be a pet peeve.

Hmmm. I have an old shed to get rid of. How's this for an ad:

Free firewood. Just have to dismantle and take it away. No partial, it's all or nothing.

That must be "some" stove polish...

I've heard there is a push to make magic mushrooms legal, but I think this guy is getting a jump on heavy use.

Either that, or their pusher is needing some money for past due "goods"

Hey!..it's got all new everything... :2thumbsup:
Where do you buy new cloudy headlights...
"She won’t last long"... ( Whanna bet ? )

Trying to get on the overpriced used truck bandwagon however, it's the more recent ones that are affected. Some used trucks just 1 or 2 years old are being sold at the same price as new ones! Yeah, there is a shortage of both new and used vehicles, but not old iron

My buddy's 2019 F150 is worth what he paid for it. Crazy! As for the value of old iron, I would not be surprised to see that start climbing as well once the supply chain issues hit the replacement part supply chains for the newer iron (e.g. a replacement PCM, etc.). Our older iron has a wealth of parts, OEM & aftermarket, that has already been built and is stocked domestically.

I guess I really can't say to much.. I just sold my 2006 Escalade for 15000..

I'd part with mine for $10k. Way over market, however, it has very minimal rust and mileage is fairly low at around 140k km with full history.

$10k sounds fair. Its better then the full size 00-06 Tahoes/Yukons going for $7-14k with rusted out rockers, dents/cracked windshield, faded paint or torn driver seats with 200-300k mi. One dealer is asking $17k for an 03 Suburban with 60k about an hour from me. I swear, the Facebook Marketplace has more idiots selling overpriced junk cars then craigslist at this point from what I'm seeing. Even a 05 Envoy Denali (no engine/trans), front end collision damage and the guy wants $3k for the whole thing. Its got body rust forming from sitting in a forested area in his backyard. Inside was clean though, with an all black interior. If he was willing to part it out, I wouldn't have minded snagging all of the interior so I can convert mine.

Another example I came across. Claims it was pampered, with no dents! First picture has dented fender.....and another to match on the drivers side! My favorite is the wire holding the bumper up from what I assume is either broken clips or they hit something (headlights don't seem to match up with the fender too well).

Never posted a marketplace link, so hopefully it works.

Really?

This is one weird looking Trailblazer..

And a rare 2 door as well!

I normally pass on F*rd ads but this one has the ultra rare snow conversion

Overpriced.. And well...

Nowadays, it might be underpriced! It's getting crazy out there.

I had some Jeep interior pieces up on Kijiji for the past month and a half. One guy kept low balling over and over. I told him politely to make a better offer. He came up to $150 and I again said no. This was his reply and mine. I had to block him....but not before some choice words.

I have a number of douches that I've blocked for basically the same reason. I always put a note in the ad that lowballers will be ignored. Sometimes I'll just reply "No" to their idiot offer and they just won't stop.
