Can we get a translation dictionary?

And one I always have a problem remembering

IIRC=If I Remember Correctly

I keep mixing it with IRC, which was the old chatting system Internet Relay Chat.

All have been added up to this point.

Now every time someone writes "may" it labels it. :confused:

Hmm, this might be better suited for the anything goes section :rotfl:

Hey, is there anything we can do about the OS translation? It can refer to the Old Site (as it currently does), but it also stands for Operating System. Kinda important when talking about PCM/ECM/TCM tuning.

Just noticed this, not sure if/what the mods wanna do about it.

There's a bit of irony imbeded in that.

I cant see OS as being confusing. Would be far different context for them to be used.

I agree too, but if a noob comes on and Im talking about changing the OS of a PCM and the definition is "Old Site", they're going to be super confused. Having both (maybe separated by a comma?) as the definition would make more sense.

Do we have DIC yet? [yes guess we do]

CASE= Camshaft Angle Sensor Error

Is this feature case sensitive? I wouldn't put this one in if it also reacts to the lowercase word "case", as in transfer case, case sensitive, etc.

Could lengthen the string to "CASE relearn"

Ghoster must have been banned because he's doing other stuff than this measly thread. :raspberry:

Who do you think has to fix everything Jimmy breaks????

the tool is an acronym extender, it won't accept 2 words. its also not case sensitive, so case or CASE doesn't work. Don't know what else to do with that.:undecided:

I put some useful ones in post #66.

I know what 3 of those mean. I am not loading FNG. :raspberry:

These are supposed to be for terms that people wouldn't understand for a GMT. They can google the ordinary everyday acronyms. They have to learn how google works sooner or later!

Buahahahaa! :crackup:

The only problem I see with that is someone is doing a comparison like "Trailblazer VS Envoy" - turns into "Trailblazer epic fail Envoy" :blinkhuh:
