un-lifted and running boards definitely not helping any in that situation haha but still looks like a lot of fun

wish we had some snow to play in around here...its been a pretty brown winter :frown:

I dont think we ever even had an inch on the ground

Nice, I only got stuck once a couple years ago when we got hit with alot of snow (for this area). First storm 10" end of Nov., second storm was 14" mid Jan., and the last one was 10" a week after the 14" one. We also had some small ones that left a dusting to 3". Had to get yanked out by an F-350, which most likely a turbo diesel Ford or Chevy will be my next truck.

We had snow yesterday, very wet and heavy snow. Lasted for about 5 hours, and then it stopped. 3 hours later it was about 55* outside. tomorrow forecast 72* WTF.

That looks awesome. I skied all last week in Big Sky and Moon light Basin then surprise, surprise, there was enough snow at home from the storm to finally get my sleds out this past weekend. Now the snow is almost gone. We had a few of those big snows last year and the Rainier with the running boards zooms right through it. The difference is it looks like you are way more remote than me. I'm disappointed at the need for AWD this year. Only a few times and even then it wasn't even close to actually needed.

I have plans for a lift and some treadwright sentenials for some better gas mileage than the guarddogs. I was only getting 10.5 the way there doing 70:eek: with stock tires.

Sounds like you got issues to deal with besides lift n tires. I still get about 16 mpg at 70.

I agree, With stock tires, I get at least 20 on the highway at 75

Sorry shoud have mentioned I had two sleds on an 8ft X 8ft trailer. Still think I should have gotten more than that though...

Lucky  the most we have gotten this year is 3"

3 years ago, I was on a temporary work assignment in Scottsbluff over the winter months. As I recall, not much snow that year. Good to see some members on here from that friendly town. :)

Not sure there, I don't tow enough to know what I get there. By the way, did the sleds pull better on the long trip with the weight further forward?

Better, but still had some issues need a drop hitch. Going to get that adjustable one:yes:

Its been forever since Dad and I have gone up to Gaylord. I miss sledding up there. Hell the sleds just sit now, not like we get enough snow in central Indiana to ride. :frown:

Here in Rogers City about 1.5 Hrs from Gaylord we got 7" of snow for a total of 16" on the gorund.

Yea, it was awesome, Playin in the car with alot of snow is also fun too:rotfl: but, watch those snow banks lol

Now its 61 outside!!!! :wootwoot: Can't wait to get my TB Muddy!!! :wootwoot:

We have acreage/cabin right outside of Gaylord (Lewiston) and I go up all winter. Well, except this winter I havent been up since December and when I was up then, there were a few 45*f days!!! VERY unusual for Northern Michigan that time of year.

Anyways, Im going up this weekend. My Sis lives in Cadillac and said they got 16" of snow last week in addition to whatever they already had on the ground, she says 2' or more total now. Im totally excited about romping around in the snow up there this weekend!! Its a tradition that every winter I get the 'Voy stuck, haha. And I expect to carry that tradition in the next few days.

We havent gotten shit down in SE Michigan this winter which bums me out - I love snowy Michigan winters!

When I get my TB lifted we should have a Mini meet ... HIJACKTHREAD!!!

Sounds good, but I need to get my lift..:frown:

Same snow storm, we were in Gordonsville, VA, had taken the Cruze at 42mpg because the weather was supposed to be good all week, and we got 8" of snow, here... It was completely melted off the roads by afternoon, but we sure as hell didn't go anywhere Monday morning! Not a bad thing on vacation, anyway, though...
