I got my room today, the Super 8 that we stayed at a couple years ago is now an EconoLodge.

The only thing I see wrong is that the officer is using an unsafe stance and can easily be kicked in the head.

I'm out as well. But you all knew that already since we're on fb lol. Now if you do Cedar Point then I'm game for that. I only live 25 minutes away from there. So thats right in my backyard.

You guy's that booked the motel through booking can still cancel...if that happens.

But yes, it would suck, seeing as though it's normally our biggest meet of the year.
 
Kinda saw this coming though. Last year was our lowest attending meet since I've been apart of the forums and each year has slowly been declining. For it being our "big Midwest meet" and only 9 trucks show up last year, that was kind of a bummer. Still had fun, but bummed so few attended.
 
Kinda wonder what the deal is. People getting busy? I understand that but still...
 
Maybe since the platform is so old now? People moving on? Or just not as many enthusiasts anymore? I know for me it's the fact that i'm always traveling to them. So money becomes an issue. The hours and hours of driving, then hotel stays, etc... it's like I have to plan for a mini vacation lol. The last 4 years, the meets have been in IN and IL. This place feels like tbssowners now trying to get a meet set up :rotfl:. They never do anything over there.

Well i'll have the shelter that day regardless. Since there are no refunds. If need be i'll sit there and BBQ by myself. lol.

But our meets have been falling ever since the big move. Guess this is the end my friends.

Oh, I'm totally intending on being there. Everyone needs to get the word out. Tell your friends! Seems like a lot of the social part has gone to Facebook, maybe?

I thought perhaps tbssowners was getting the activity with meets, but I guess that was wrong...
 
You would think you could get more that we are now all GMTs. Of course I can't even get a few of us together here in Vegas without pulling teeth.
 
What gets me is we had a dozen+ vote on the location/time poll, yet we only have not even half that say they're even coming now...

I really wish I could make it, but I said from the poll time I could not.

I did share with Regulator about it and he was gonna contact some of yall I think.
 
i can't make it either. Daughters B-Day.
as i said before, if i couldn't make it, would be happy to contribute to the rental of the pavilion.

I wonder, would a different weekend be better for everyone? Like the following weekend? Maybe timing is not really good after all.
