I think I could make Quad Cities work. About 7 hr drive...
 
so who is gonna take the reins on this and start a poll then location as well as handle setup. Gonna need someone from the area that is picked most likely
 
Check out Scott County west lake park. Its just out side of Davenport. Camping, Fishing and yes you can drink there. Swimming and boats too.
 
Wish I could join but I moved back the the NW.
 
Just drive it anyway :raspberry:

Depends all on timing for me, if I can get a couple days free lol.

FYI== 48 hrs n location will close and date will go up. Chi and QC are in the lead...
 
Chicago is the place from the polling. Dates needs decided.

Give me 3 or 4 and I will make a poll.
 
I think around the same time as the past couple years would probably be a good start. Last year was the first weekend in June.
 
5-16 and 5-17
5-30 and 5-31
6-6 and 6-7
6-13 and 6-14

How about we vote on these 4 weekends?

We have a weekend June 6-7 and a place Chicago. Now we need some local tires on the road to help plan this bad boy out!

Any volunteers?
 
any old threads where people say if they are from chi-town at all that it could get posted in?
 
Plenty. I know several there, but giving someone a chance to step up before drafting ;)

Didn't see this update. I'll look around at different forest preserves and what not. What do people want to do? So i can narrow down the areas to look at.

I'm thinking the woods where we have had the last couple of southside meets. Its been an area that has worked well for us in the past.

Anyone got a photo of Martin cooking under the umbrella?
 
just after i left, had my nephew's grad party to get to.
i was not even 2 miles down the road when that hit.
even missed Eric and his lifted SS doing burn outs. :hissyfit:

that was a decent place, just up the road (w/ in the forest preserve) there was a pavilion.
i was one of the first ones there, and it was already being sat on by a couple of people.
if the guys that had to wash there GMT's had not lolly gagged, we could have taken over and pushed them out.

Yeah yeah yeah... I was one of those. Hey, it was dirty and needed a quick bath!

I'm good with meeting there again this year.

I'll see if i can get one reserved this year. They arn't first come first serve. They reserved ahead of time.

I can help in searching for a shelter as well. Also Joe and I have a friend with a restaurant that serves delicious food and has a bar in it. I can set something up with him to accommodate us all on any given night.

I'm new here but I have attended all the major fullsizechevy.com meets for the last many years. This is the first year I havent had a true FSC. It will all depend on my new work schedule we are changing into. Would be fun to be apart of another group. A few from this year. A good size group with lots of shenanigans, pictures, and some busted knuckles.
