Invest in a porter cable 7424xp and some good quality product like "Adams" polishes and do a paint correction. You'd be surprised what a paint correction...especially on black can do. If ur hoods all chipped to hell invest in a Scott's hood. www.centercrosscustoms.com. love those hoods.
Man I wish my tbss looked as good as the one pictured.
Dude, I'm loving that hood.

Looks good! Gonna leave it white? Don't look too bad like that so I wouldn't blame you if you did. :tiphat:

Welcome back, but the 3 different colors looks like a fixed wreck before paint IMO. I think the white grill would look better without the hood wrap.

:iagree: I don't know how much the wrapping cost you, but maybe put the same on the white parts of the frame so it was blue, with the black accents of the grilles and bowtie. That would look good.

Glad to see your mod bug is healthy

We ripped the head apart bro, installed all new lifters, o rings on the injectors, and valve cover gasket set. It a whore of a job on the i6. But i will say that is one of the easiest intake manifolds I have ever pulled.

Also this morning we fixed the transmission leak, and replaced the seals on the rack and pinion.

How was the seals on the rack and pinion? Debating on doing the seal kit I have or just swapping for a rebuilt unit.

Looks good Bubba. I was thinking it would look great with a color matched crossbar, and maybe match the grille inserts to the Bowtie. I threw this together quickly for you and it even carries your local seal of approval. (and for Brandon - hope you get a kick out of it as well. If you want the file just yell).

I like the Brandon approved, but black on the color blue I use would just look awful for grill mesh. I think I might put the black bowtie back on and paint the grill black or just leave it white

You lower than Brandon or is he lower than you? Goes either way depending upon the angle in the pics lol. Your paint looks so good!

You gonna knockout the quad tail mod or are you even interested in it?

Awesome work. Looks badass. You have been back less than a week and done more than I have all year. You deserve it man.
Thanks guys, appreciate the compliments. It took about 20hrs to get the paint to look that good. Still slight imperfections, but very few. Zero oxidation finally. Never thought she'd look brand new ever! Props to Brandon on his buffing.
I'm lower Garth lol. I think i'm the lowest non-bagged non-SS TB to my knowledge. I have to measure again.
It is crazy how much my rig changed in 3 days. Been looking forward to accomplishing this for a very long time. I finally fell back in love with it.

I figured you were lower because of the smaller wheel/tire setup
Yeah, but I still feel like I'd be lower even if I had 22's like him
