I am loving this build Capote. I've been following this thread for the two days I've been a member haha. Anyways, I'm going to look into the suspension kit you used to lower mine.

Invest in a porter cable 7424xp and some good quality product like "Adams" polishes and do a paint correction. You'd be surprised what a paint correction...especially on black can do. If ur hoods all chipped to hell invest in a Scott's hood. www.centercrosscustoms.com. love those hoods.
Man I wish my tbss looked as good as the one pictured.
I don't know what these words meant, but, I'm at the same point as Capote with my black LT. My truck has painful water spots, scuffs, and just plain paint wear.

Thanks Jay, I appreciate it, glad to hear you're liking what you see so far  . You'll definitely be able to get a nice drop with the Belltech kit I used, you CAN lower it more than the kit states. Mine is sitting at a 3/5 drop. Nice to hear of someone else that knows the struggles of having the paint being all-round crappy. I can't tell in your pic though, just like mine. Can only notice in person.

Nice rig by the way, she's definitely begging for a drop. I swear I've seen it somewhere :undecided:

I could of sworn I saw a pic of it here, unless someone else had the same wheels and also painted the Trailblazer logo red on the side. You should never use Trailvoy again.... :rotfl:

I saw this a couple of weeks ago, my concern was there is no lenses on the front. The halos and the glass are pretty vulnerable to damage. For example if you have been driving for a while with them on and it started raining I think the temperature change could crack the glass......

At first glance those look just like the halo projector fogs discussed on the OS that people put in their Envoys. But after looking at a couple of the old threads, those had a 2nd glass lens. I guess these could still work, Blazer fogs only have the main lens, and I know some guys who run HIDs in them with no problems. They aren't pushing 55W through them though. :undecided:

Looks like we've got ourselves a guinea pig!

I'm willing to give it a try, it's not too expensive so if they break, I wouldn't be too pissed. That's just another opportunity to try another pair. They do have a 35w version for a little less

how did it affect the light pattern?
Thanks bro, actually has a nice cut off now like projectors now. I'm glad it didn't affect the light pattern in a negative way

Definitely cleaned up the pattern. Maybe I started something here lol, would be cool if others tried this out. Yeah I'm thinking about it.

Get any pics on a wall, Aaron?

If it effectively formed a decent cutoff, Mustang will get that soon.
I'm heading out tonight to get pictures off a wall and from the drivers seat. I'm pretty stoked that I'm getting a lot if positive feedback and inspiring you guys to try it out too [emoji39]

Thanks Ryan, means something coming from one who knows what cutoff should look like considering you have projectors. Dip has actually been used on Calipers before, if it can hold up there, I'm sure it'll hold up to the HIDs. I'm just worried about douchebags at work who are curious and poke and prod at it and then rip the dip....

Well good thing plastidip is fast and cheap who knows maybe you will like it so much you decide to paint them on there it does look like your passenger light needs raised a bit. Either way good idea I cant believe its never been done before[emoji106]

Yeah that's what I like about Plastidip. Hmm I suppose it does, I think I messed with that little adjusting dial on it yesterday. I can't believe it hasn't been done either. I'm sure others will follow suite now [emoji41]

Should have taken some before pics so we could see the comparison. Still looks like lots of glare above the "cutoff"

Well they're not projectors, so it's not gonna be perfect though

I got that. Just wanting to see what actual diiference, if any, the plasti dip made to reducing the glare of HIDs in a reflector housing. From the pics it looks decent.

Can you see any difference since you drive it everyday?

Wish i had some sort of comparison. Can't really tell yet because most of the roads are lit, but when I am leaving my apartment complex I can tell a difference from before.

Not in the last 2 pics. in all the top pics that glare is reflecting off of the ground. I could do some with tape before and after....i need to aim my headlights first then i will give it a go wed night
