That's what they say every time  and then it turns out being about 3 inches.

Yes and no, they are usually always way off. However they are right about 1 out of every 10 times, and they are way overdue at this point to get one right.

That and I washed all 3 vehicles today, so we are going to get hammered.

68 and amazing today, tomorrow high around 50. Then back to the freezing temps, and a current snow prediction of 8-10 inches .

Last I seen we are supposed to get 4" give or take 4". I love the weatherman around here

That does not look good. I thought winter was over. Hopefully most of it does not stick since it had been so warm.

42º right now. The drive into work I going to be great. I knew I unloaded the 1/2 ton of sand out of my wife's F150 too soon.

This is the map for our area as of now, I am in St. Marys, in the bottom of MD.

Good choice on using NWS. Why shovel ad revenue toward people for giving you information the government already provides? :rotfl: Unless people go "Wait, guv'mint lies tuh us e'ry o'er time, weather's-uh lyin too!"

32 fahrenheit here this instant. Looks bleak out but at least it's not like the other day where it was bone-chilling but looked beautiful out.

The NOAA provides raw live data to the NWS and to other regional stations. Once you are able to "read" the maps and data they provide on the regional headquarters website (wrh and crh are the what I use) you can be your own weatherman!

Often during warning announcements they need to include the entire broadcast area. And this is another reason people call BS on weathermen. Ours are pretty bright people. I hear sunny Socal has the occasional model or someone in costume to keep the viewers tuned in. March is historically a snowy month.

After a few days of good weather now we are supposed to get 3-5 inches of snow again :hissyfit: I am ready for the good weather already.

Pastor was just talking this morning about the Great Snow of 93 or 94 or whenever it happened around here. They got 36 inches of snow. When it melted away he found the newspaper that was buried underneath, it said 4 inches. :rotfl:

Clear and cold here. Avoided the snow they had forecasted.

70 here today. It's 50 now, so it's like a heat wave. I hope tomorrow is nice too, then I'll pull the motorcycle out and throw down some miles.

Not quite the 8-10 they were saying, however 7.5 is close enough. It is nice to see a good snow, but damn it I want warm weather to stick around.

Ended up with about 7" here, measuring off the back deck. Not going to complain about a snow day.
It's still flurrying a little here, but looks like the worst of it has gone by.

Cheers-

60* this past weekend, 6" of snow on Monday morning, freezing rain/sleet Wednesday, and back up into the mid 50's by the end of the week. I am getting tired of this WV weather

From a lifelong resident - If you don't like the weather here, just wait a minute. :rotfl:

Thats what my dad use to tell me when he lived in Florida and I would go visit. They have crazy weather down there minus the snow and freezing rain, well sometimes.

You could always count on the evening thunderstorm to come and cool things off for the night, it was like clockwork.

I love FL, however TN is looking like a future place of residence. Unfortunately the job market is a bit, stale.

Looks like we stay above freezing after tomorrow. Its about damn time.

I'll move to Florida maybe when the highs get below freezing. I hear they have snakes eating gators now

TN is the exact place my wife and I have been looking to move. We would like to live outside of Nashville, but like you said, there is not a lot going on with the job market. I think we are going to wait until she finishes school and see where we are at. TN is great all year around IMO, plus we would be closer to family.

I have seen that pic of the anaconda eating the gator in the Florida Everglades. That is one huge snake. If you ever get the chance to eat gator, cajun gator tail is the best.

:rotfl:

Flordia offers more than MD does politically, however living within the DC area gives the potential for better paying jobs. Unless I want to repair rides at Disney or work as a park cop, I am limited on jobs there as well. To get away from our ignorant politicians and the ability to gain a CCW license, I will deal with some swap snakes eating gators. Hell might even be entertaining.

I know someone who lived in Memphis, TN. The part they lived in was extreeeeeemely bad neighborhood. As in windows smashing and gun shots and they had a barbed wire fence around their house. I guess people get crazy all over the U.S., not just Detroit :rotfl:

Consider western WV, man. Envoy_04 and I are the only ones holding down the fort over here! And then you don't have to deal with tag changes, just residence update

And there's only one reason to move to Florida: You're old, and looking for a few games of golf before you die. That's really it.

Member Dmanns#67 hails from Martinsburg WV.

There are a few videos of a gator and snake going at it with the snake the victor almost everytime. Only time it wasn't, was when it had already consumed a gator/croc and another went for it when it was paralyzed in digestion.

Last one I saw had a snake and gator going for an hour before the gator gave up it's attack and was soon exhausted. The snake proceeded to attack and soon ate it.

I'm carrying a knife. A real knife according to Mic Dundee

My weather is too cold for an exotic snake to introduce itself wildy. Going to snow tomorrow too.

Looks like me and WillBill92 are the only ones here on the East side of WV. (Panhandle) Which is nice. I can drive 30 or so miles North and be in PA, South to VA, or East to MD.

What surprises me is that I have not seen a single other member from southern MD on this site. I have seen thousands of these things, a good number with mods. Seen a tb with the PCM4LESS decals, another tb with the brush guard and rood lights, lowered, lifted, etc. etc. I find it insane.

ANNOYING. Central NC here. 70 degrees on Saturday, snowing on Monday and now everything is icy. Supposed to be 70 again by the end of the week. The swings are so annoying, and when it's super cold/icy our dyno doesn't work and obviously we can't test drive 700rwhp cars, so all the work gets backed up in the shop. Sigh! Can't wait for the "out like a lamb" part of March, any day now!
