What size is my sway bar?

Hey Guys. This might be a stupid question but I don't know what size the front sway bar (stabilizer) is. I was going to order a few parts from Rock Auto, including a rear sway bar link and an oil pressure sending switch. They list several bushing sets for an '02 Envoy. Is there a way to tell besides climbing under the truck with a caliper? My '02 is an SLT.

Thanks

Glenn

IIRC, the EXT/XL use the bigger bars. Only way to be sure, you guessed it, is to measure it.

If you don't want to get that into it, wrap a string around the bar measure the length and divide by pi. You'll get the diameter from that. Well that's what it did. I had the bigger bar iirc.

That way you can turn the wheel hard and do it from the well.

Get wrenches about the same size...whatever fits snugly is the right size.

Take off the Swaybar bushings in the front and they should be marked if you have the 44mm or 46mm swaybars....I made the mistake of ordering Moogs that where 46MM and I had to re-order the 44mm, felt way tighter after I put them on
