I think some salesmen depend too heavily on the car to sell itself, i.e. Nissan's and Ford's lol (they have their faithful followers). I do not feel bad for folks who need their hand held during a car buying experience. Especially when payments are involved. I had my wife go get coffee and not come back until I called when we sat down to "negotiate" (look on salesman's face: priceless). She can't walk away sometimes lol. It is a known tactic to sell to the woman because they usually get what they want when shopping! Like this weekend I went to buy a new cell phone, but we left with boots and a new "outfit"

My brother n law has a crew max and I must say that thing has PLENTY:eek: of room inside but I could never see myself buying a toyota. His has all the bells and whistles but I think he might trade it in for the newer body style. Their 1949 edition's interior looks super nice but I'd rather have the Sierra/Silverado or the Yukon:biggrin:

I don't like Toyota's floppy frames lol.

Boom All Done! Thats the fastest I have ever finished a GTA by far, I got wrapped in the story. Now im just waiting for Online servers to come up. Back to work now my weekend is over

What are you going to look at?

:book:

Nursing sore knees, a tight hammy, and a sore achilles at my cubicle, after running 3 games of basketball yesterday. (damn is my old ass out of shape!!) Trying to drown out the pain with music, sugar and doing actual work.  :compu-punch:

 After talking to too many older guys, we have NOTHING to look forward to :rotfl: I hear ya, some say similar to a vehicle without a warranty. Others say don't stop because when you do, you find out you don't "go" like you used too!

Headed back to AT&T. I love sitting out front for a few mins chatting or occupying my time so the sales guys are lining up inside to prey upon. Too bad whoever it is will have to deal with a return and not a purchase

Envoy, sounds like the water pump was going on it. Sellperson was a dbag, he said he didn't care how the truck was. Also in the online photos it showed a dual exhaust, when we looked they hacked it out told me that "people complained it was too loud"

Replacing the roof on the house.

It's 40 years to the month. Lost a few shingles over the years, developed a small leak last month. Deck is good, a little rot in some of the fascia boards.

Using 210 shingles, instead of the old 270, this roof won't last as long.

Just got done working on my SkiDoo's. Cleaning the Carbs, Checking track adjustment. Gotta head to the SkiDoo dealer today and pick up some mineral oil, O-Rings, and Gaskets.

But for now, I am going to bed!@

Pretending to work for a few hours and going to 4x4 Jamboree this afternoon.

Parents are on vacation, I am having fios installed in their house... also repaired their dishwasher (latch broke), oven (convection fan blade & thermometer), and refrigerator (defrost timer)... where is my best son ever award...

After work gunna see if I can get my mother's brake lights working on her impala again...

Converted my work cubical to a standing desk. I built one using parts from IKEA for my home office, but since I'm not spending 300 dollars for work, I spent 10$ on cinder blocks.

I'm sure sure carrying all these up two flights of stairs by myself counts as a my workout for the day too. And apparently I'm the only one who actually came into the office today. Why we even have one when we all work from home, I dunno. First world problems for sure.

I been getting mine ready too changing bend n broken studs, track alignment n tension, drive belt tension and ski alignment. Also gotta pull primary clutch apart I think one of my adjustable pins came loose hanging up the arm at 6800 rpm making tic tic tic noise, plus when I get 8000 rpm it pulls back to 6800, that's why I figure clutch issue . What kind of Doo's you got, mine is 04 mxz x 600 sdi, clutched, geared and studded for the twisties in the bush but 107 mph (speedo) on the lake. Last year I put Nordloc washers on my Y-pipe cause the bolts kept backing out, Nordloc washers are a great product and I highly recommend if you ever get that common Doo issue of y-pipe bolts backing out. Also last year I put new rear springs on n found a product that a guy from Newtown makes, a spacer that goes between the shaft and the inner coil of the spring, keeps the spring coil parallel to the shaft and makes the spring work at the proper rating and helps keep the the smaller end of the spring on the adjuster block, mine came off once on the trail and was a bitch to get back on. Used to be available on the DooTalk forum but I don't see it there anymore, I have his contact info tho. Let me know if you ever get issues with your Doo's that you need help with...

Having a few Bud's n checkin out what's new on the Nation.....the good kind that cost less (USA), more beer for the buck, thanks guys

I just bought, 2 weeks ago, a 96 Formula III 600 Triple, and a 98 Summit X 670HO. I paid 920 for both of them. Been working on them the last couple weeks. Just got done with the pre-winter ready list this morning. Rebuilt the RAVE's, compression checked. Now I need to figure out how to drain the Yamalube out of the 2 stroke tank, so I can put the correct mineral oil in. The Yamalube makes the 670 smoke like a BITCH!

Both sleds came from upper Alaska, near Fruto Bay. They are not jetted for my Colorado Altitude, but I don't wanna mess with the jets until I get the Yamalube out, and make sure the new oil isn't going to lean them out. To fat is better than to lean!

Now I gotta see about selling my 85 Yamaha XLV..
