Worked earlier and cookin some steaks tonight. Had a few too many glasses of scotch last night so what better way to make yourself feel better than to have some steak and wash it down with some Sam Adams . Just gonna watch the blackhawks tonight and chill with the wife and lil' guy.
After almost 5 months of slowly picking at it, little time in evenings and some weekends, we finally finished it. There are a few odds and ends to finish up but for the most part she's good to go. My son has drove it far more than I have... ...I just walk beside it..lol.
Kurupt and I are going over to Brick House to meet up with JimmyJam to watch my Bears lose. Maybe seeing Jimmy Clausen play will make it less painful thinking about how terrible Cutler has been this season. I doubt it, but wishful thinking can't hurt too much right?
Driving home after a day spent in Melbourne, Florida the driver side wheel bearing decided to crap out. Sounded like a lion purring under the hood. Drained and filled the front diff then spent the rest of the morning taking the front wheels and brakes off checking the wheel bearings. Passenger side was smooth and quiet. Driver side sounded like it had sand poured inside. Replaced the bad bearing and truck is quiet once again. Now I'm resting.
Woke up with some awful back pain. Tried sleeping on couch....I couldn't. So I am up surfing the web. After my wife wakes....going back to bed for work.
Not at work, and loving it!! Ran to the post office this morning, did some circuit board surgery on my HID bench power supply (look mom, less wires!! ), and now camped on the couch catching up on Homeland.
Surviving today. Slow at work which is great as since last night's episode I'm just not feeling all that great. Better than earlier (I was hungry) but the gut is still a bit off.
Working a little longer today to make to for yesterday, then its family Christmas 1 of 4 tonight, as well as celebrating my future father-in-law's birthday
