Actually had a decent amount of work to do today, and didn't look at the clock much. I call that a win. Weather is back to 'normal', right around 80 and partly cloudy, so some of us are gonna go to the park and play some ball after work. May reward myself with pizza for dinner. Unexpectedly devoured all of my baked chicken last night :duh:, which I planned to have leftovers for tonight

Was going to walk to work, but the other half decided to pick me up on the way home from school. So, looks like work and then cleaning up the god-awful mess I made over the past couple of days. I'm sure the neighbors aren't so happy with me right now. :x

Relaxing. Have mandatory training early in the morning. Going to be a long 13 hour day. After work, we are hitting up a small local watering hole for some ice cold brews
Celebrating by checking out the ladies in yoga pants at the gym?
I love me some yoga pants :salivate: We will do some more celebrating this weekend.

Few more hours at work being productive. That nap sounds like a good idea, might grab one when I get home, then groceries later. Maybe start scoping out mounting methods for my intermediate projector retrofit. That and some DVR time, should start my weekend off right.

Worked a short shift and then couldn't resist nap when I got home. Now I'm doing some packing and organizing. Going to do some fiddling with a few of my side projects later on

Recently I installed some gadgets in my garage -

#1 - MyQ Internet Connectivity Kit - I'm using a older Chamberlain garage door opener and this added internet functionality so I can control the opener by an app on my iPhone. It comes in handy to check if my forgetful wife closes the door or not

#2 - Chamberlain Laser Parking Accessory - I only have about 12" to park my truck in the garage and often times I end up "lightly" crashing into my garbage cans  . This nifty little device shoots a red laser down from the ceiling onto your dashboard and I know exactly when to stop.

my only day off from both jobs and i had to wake up at 7:30 this morning for a 8:30am oil change appt for my Grand Prix. Sure I could've done things myself, but for $26 bucks, I'll pay for the convenience factor :rotfl:

Working working. Deadline of Monday for a project and ran out of time on Friday due to several other things going on and taking my time, so working today

I'll just comp my time later next week and take a day off.

Waiting for it to snow! 6+ inches for the first snowfall :woohoo:

I am putting the blizzak steelies on her car too. Snow tires eliminate her complaining of driving in the snow and helps her get past the others who are mad at each other. There is really no substitute for a real winter tire.

Another realtor and pair of potential buyers are here checking out the place. So the dog and pony show is going on yet again. Watching Sunday NFL countdown, and debating if any of the televised games here are worth watching. Bucs vs Falcons... Broncos vs Raiders... Giants vs Seahawks... :undecided: Bears vs Packers... Kinda mandatory, but I'm not expecting much there. Guess we'll see. Maybe I should go mod something instead.

Well the Bears are horrible. They keep this up, I will start boycotting their games just like the Bucs :hissyfit:

Finally sat down and started doing some RX350 retrofit stuff. I seem to get on a decent roll once I commit to it, just have to get off my ass (the couch really) and park it at the table. :undecided: Maybe I should make a build thread, so people can stay on me about it.... Hmm

Big yes to the build thread. I would love to watch the process. I see retrofits in my future, maybe not soon though.

- I have acquired a weird addiction to lights in the last year or so, so a retrofit is inevitable.

 Yeah, that could be considered a build thread of sorts. Maybe if work is slow tomorrow, I will do some more pruning in there to shorten it a bit.

I change my mind a lot as I go, since I'm pretty far off course from what I was trying to do before. That's why I haven't posted anything really. But now that the weather is cooling off, and the bugs aren't around, it wouldn't be bad to align stuff, when I find a good place to do it. I think that's why it took me so long last year too...
