Thinking about doing an emblem swap

My center gate emblem is missing the gold sticker so it looks a little weird, im thinking about removing it and replacing it with this

That would be the best thing to do if you still wanted your rear bowtie. Can't go wrong with the vinyl inlays :thumbsup:

just clean of the glue/gunk w/ goo gone and polish it up.
i think it looks pretty good all cleaned up :twocents:

I agree that it looks good on yours, but it looks like too much chrome on black imho

Mine fell off years ago and I sold the replacement one that I got when it was under warranty to someone over on TV.

Debadgeing was one of my first mods

(pay no attention to the TV decal!!!)

but after shaving the moldings, I decided the sides was to plain so I added OEM badges

I have de-badged every vehicle I've owned in the past 6-7 years. Haven't found one yet that didn't look better afterwards. My TB is black and it looks great. I even blacked out my bowtie in the grill. The gold only lasted about a week after I bought it. Couldn't stand the way it looked.

Picked up some plasti dip today, going to do the emblems black this week.
