The 1936 dog sack was an innovative, though controversial, approach to traveling with pets. It offered a solution to keeping cars clean from pet hair and accidents by placing the dog in a canvas sack attached outside the car. While providing air and a view for the pet, the concept raised significant safety and animal welfare concerns and did not gain widespread acceptance.

Not wanting Arnold Schwarzenegger's left leg.....
Missed this comment..

No left leg action... Floating gears all day. Only time you clutched was starting out, or reversing.

300'/90m out in a field there is an eagle. Must have been 2 carcasses a ways apart, but not too far. Eagle is at one pile, scavengers go to other pile. Eagle turns, looks, looks angry, runs towards pile. Rinse and repeat.

Best I could come up with on the phone. It was priceless to see. Eagles kind of look a bit mean to start. This one looked like nothing I have ever seen.20240430_085557.jpg20240430_085553.jpg20240430_085552.jpg20240430_085551.jpg20240430_085550_1.jpg

Honest to God I have seen this happen. A elderly friend of mine was at the auto parts store looking for an inline fuel filter for his tractor. Like a simple 3/8" variety and the counter person was unable to understand what his request was! The counter person required "year, make and model" to help assist and his parts book didn't show any farm tractors. And this was not recent but around 20 years ago! :bonk:

It was vacuumed last week

Pretty high mileage though. With a u-pull nearby, it would be a fairly cheap fix, especially if it's a popular colour.
There are all kinds like that near me on F-B marketplace and I am not searching. I am 54177 zip.

And there is only 1 picture of the 'clean' side on that ad.

This is a little closer to what is expected around here, except this one does not have the large noticeable holes from road salt. Surprised they didn't mention that in the ad
