As long as you have the cap mod done, you should have no issues with running the HIDs during the day time.Capote said:I prefer to have my HIDS come on auto, I love the color of them

It does have an aggressive look bro, but it will shorten the life of your HID's significantly. that why i chose to disable mine.Capote said:I prefer to have my HIDS come on auto, I love the color of them
It may be a couple of weeks before i do the dome lights. We started on my dash, I am going to order some LED's for a/c controls, and door switches. I am looking now for some SMD's for the cluster in red. I am worried about hot spots in the cluster. also I am thinking about getting an Envoy Cluster to put in my truck.dmanns67 said:You getting LEDs in your interior this weekend?
I have 2 spare HID kitsBlazingTrails said:It does have an aggressive look bro, but it will shorten the life of your HID's significantly. that why i chose to disable mine.

I'm not scared, you ARE talking to a professionalMounce said:SMDs will be tricky with the three short positive and negative legs, I guess that might be why everyone uses the old style LEDs.
Bro the tip is smaller than a sharpened pencil, i have never had one quite that small i used it twice already. LOVE IT!!!Capote said:Will do man Hopefully i'll have my strobes put on by then, sometimes i'm just lazy lol
Wow that's insane, that'd be perfect for SMD work. I didn't think they even made tips that fine broBlazingTrails said:Bro the tip is smaller than a sharpened pencil, i have never had one quite that small i used it twice already. LOVE IT!!!
yeah man i changed some diodes yesterday, and that thing is badass around 780 *F. Also I had to repair my 1280 Watt thermaltake PSU, the idiots in the factory landed the peripheral secondary 12v Rail feed to the primary Rail. I took it apart and was like WTF?? lol i swapped it over and it works great. Never needed the 12v rail before because everything ran on 5v until i just bought a new DVD drive which requires the 12v secondary.Capote said:Wow that's insane, that'd be perfect for SMD work. I'm confused after 780*F... lol :blush:BlazingTrails said:yeah man i changed some diodes yesterday, and that thing is badass around 780 *F. Actually your CPU, video card, etc all run off the 12V.BlazingTrails said:yeah man i changed some diodes yesterday, and that thing is badass around 780 *F. You've got a point there budBlazingTrails said:That is the biggest form of flattery sir
Not the secondary, The primary rail had both of the 12v feeds soldered to it. so everything for the video cards and board fans etc had power.Sparky said:Actually your CPU, video card, etc all run off the 12V.
