FEEDBACK Seeing Alerts

Is there an easy way to get the alerts to show up when opened. They are highlighted but maybe I am too old to easily see them. I have to look pretty hard to notice the bolder font.

Alerts? If you mean push notifications, I don't get those but I have enabled them for me just to see what they look like.

It is just my notification that a thread I have responded to before has had another response on it.

Ah. When I click on those, I get the list of responded threads and when I click on the link, it takes me to the last message in that thread.

Yes, that is what I am talking about. If you look at your pic, The thread for "What did you do to your GMT today?", is barely darker than the thread below it that is labeled "Seeing Alerts".

I can barely see the difference in the posts "lightness/darkness", showing that I have not opened the top one yet but the barely lighter color is one that I have opened and read already.

The top one has a very lightly shaded background compared to the white background of the lower one.

If the thread that has a reply is unread, it is bold. The others are regular font. If you look, there is a dot. If you hover over it, it gives the option to mark it as unread and it becomes bold again.

Yea, I see the dot. I was just looking for a way to easily notice an unread alert. Hovering over the dot, is fine but is an extra step. I was just wondering if there was a real easy way to do a quick glance and see an unopened/unread post/alert. I just have to get my old eyes to look closer and make a decision. Something like the bold but also, the font in a different color. Something real easy to see in a nano second. thanks for the help.

I always see a red numeral on top of the alert symbol indicating the number of unread messages or reactions, not so for you? Or am I talking about something else?

I will look for red numeral but I think on mine it is just a red dot or a red number so small it looks like a dot. Sometimes. there is no red number/dot, before I open the alerts but when I do open it, there is unread threads that are a shaded area and a bolder font.
