That is cool. Saw a documentary about it once. Just one thing I'm wondering is what happens if one of the pulleys or its bearings breaks? The whole system goes down, unless they maintain them so well that nothing ever breaks.

There was a guy there with his infrared thermometer taking temp readings of all the bearings around the large pulleys right before I starting taking the video. He had a notebook with all the temps so I want to say it's constantly maintained.
