Good afternoon guys I had an 03 Escalade but the rust and the ongoing problems anyway we've retired it for the moment mooseman helped me get it going anyway we now purchase the 2007 Escalade and I'm trying to get it ready because in Ontario we have to have a safety check but of course January we have new safety check procedures so I have a current problem with this 07 in that previous clients had a problem with the air suspension so they replaced the front shocks with the gas shocks deleted the tubing I guess from the compressor to the shocks the compressor does not run but the rear shocks are pumped up so I am unable to get an answer from any mechanic so far as to whether or not this unit will pass safety because on the DIC of course I have an error message that says you know check suspension right I believe this check suspension but anyway it says it checked the air suspension problem so the rear shocks are good and The Stance is good and everything else but they can't tell me now whether or not I have to make all this about the safety from what I read in the MTO it says that any equipment that is Supply to standard equipment on the vehicle has to work well again I'm not getting an answer so I can't delete this message as I understand it because it's all in the computers and when you start off it's all looking at the level Heights and all this crap so I'm stuck there so I'm wondering if any of you guys have had a recent safety or if there is any mechanics on the Forum that would know anything about you Ontario safety and whether or not would pass and if if I have to would you have an idea of where I could go in the Ottawa area to get it where they will allow me this little problem thanks very much

This would be much easier to read with paragraphs and punctuation.

I tried GPT4All and it was useless, basically suggesting to reinstall the system and consulting forums  .

I had the same issue with my 08 Avalanche and never could get rid of the message. The entire air suspension, front and rear, was deleted but the BCM is looking for it and will throw a message saying to check the system. Mine passed the safety however it was done by the same garage as the used car dealer so

I did find this thread at a Caddilac forum and they suggest putting resistors in the old shock connectors.

Other than that, all I can suggest is to find another shop that will do the safety explaining that the suspension is fine and it was just reverted to a normal suspension without the air system. I'm even surprised that they're flagging this as a safety issue.

Regarding issues with GPT4ALL not being responsive...

"... tried GPT4All and it was useless, basically suggesting to reinstall the system and consulting forums  ..."

The Trick here is to Download as many LLMs as you can get your hands on... and then select from within that variety of LLMs for "The Best Tool in The Tool Box". This may take some time to achieve since the Tokenized Knowledge Corpus' living within each Model are Truly Gigantic... a Trial and Error approach may be necessary to find the One That Best Suits The Situation.

The Nomic's GPT4ALL Access Program is merely a convenient "Shell" that will allow Users to do a lot more things...assuming you visit the Nomic GPT4ALL site From WITHIN the Program... and then select and grab the LLMs Best Suited for your particular hardware for Off Line Queries... :>)

Look for THIS Feature the next time you interact with GPT4ALL and find MORE LLMs to Download, Choose and Use THIS Option:

Ah, I was using it on my phone and I can only select one at a time, which means it uses it remotely. I'd have to look at getting it on my Windows laptop if it's available.

You can put a shunt/resistor on the end of the wiring to the shock/strut that will eliminate the fault..

I cant seem to find a direct wired one, only splice versions. But I know they exist.
