Rear washer pump not working

Hi Everyone,

My rear washer pump is no longer pumping. Rear wiper works as does the front washer pump.

Is there a separate fuse for the front and rear pumps?

Thanks for the time, everyone. Have a great weekend!

Respectfully,
George D.

There are separate pumps. Two on the front of the reservoir under the engine air cleaner. Actually, the reservoir is the lower mold to hold the air cleaner housing. Pull the black cover, and then there are 2 13mm nuts that hold down the reservoir. Pull the reservoir and pull the pumps.

Don't know about fuses, though.

I just pulled mine half an hour ago. The rear pump is plain old leaking. In fact, when I got the oil change and they filled up the reservoir, it leaked on the guy in the pit.

Quick test to find out if it's the motor or the circuit. Pull the front and rear washer connectors and swap the connectors. If the rear doesn't squirt when you activate the front, it's the pump. If the front doesn't work when you activate the rear, it's a power/circuit issue.

Worked on my daughter's 2003 Envoy yesterday for a washer leaking. Found it to be a cracked front pump body. Wanted to swap pump motors with rear pump, but connectors are different.

Also, I know this might sound stupid but it wouldn't hurt to check. My rear pump seemingly stopped working once but it was just that the nozzle slid down the blade and crimped the hose. Sometimes it's the simple things.
