Rear trailing arm mount replacement in NYC

The frame mount for the rear trailing arm is rusted to the point I don’t trust it anymore. I found pre made ones on Amazon , is there anything special I need to know because it seems pretty straight forward cut off and tack new ones on.

Also is there anyone in the nyc area that can recommend a shop ?

Based on my recent experience on a 2008, the problem will be: what to tack them to! The frame member integrity may be significantly "rust dissolved" making "tacking" difficult in terms of the operation and the resulting integrity thereafter. I am sure others will have a comment. good find on the replacements.

Maybe @xavierny25 has an idea for a welder in the area.

What @budwich mentioned it spot on. Check the area near there to make sure there is still frame rails to weld on to. Might need to weld some new plating there too.
