mines in the slumps right now but I drove a freaking impala ss for one day while I left it home and my god give me my TB all day.

I can't bare the sight of mine right now. It rained the other day and they just "tar and chipped" all the roads around here so it is covered in stone dust and tar. :frown: With my uhh toe issues I cannot clean the poor thing. Makes me sad to even walk thru the garage....

The hardest part was cutting the inside section of the lights, and since you don't have to deal with that, you're in good shape. :thumbsup:

Making the clear turn signal lenses was the most time consuming part, but that's because I didn't know what worked and what wouldn't, so I had to keep starting over until I got it right :raspberry:

As far as putting them back together, if you can squeeze a tube of toothpaste, then you meet all the requirements. The bottom and sides of the light are covered up, only modified section that's visible is the top, which is only seen when the hood is open. Since the RTV silicone is sticky and gooey when it goes on, unless you have some special Cake Boss skills or something, it's probably gonna look like the pics in the article. By that point, you'll probably just want to be done with it, and not really care too much how clean the silicone looks, compared to your clear corners and painted inserts. :wootwoot:

ALL murdered out now. Painted the rest of the front grills. I had a little mishap while doing it. NOW my grill and cross bar need repainted in the spring. Oh well. Still love the SS !!

My Trailblazer, and Cody's Envoy on Monday.
We met up for a chance to intercept a few rotating super cells, We ended up not getting anything other than some wind in rain.
Both Cody and myself are trained storm spotters, as well as storm chasers. We report any severe weather to a national network which then takes our reports and looks to see if they need to issue a warning for that storm that we are reporting on.

^^ looks good... just dont agree with having an SS badge on there.. but then again, i think i'm biased to the SS platform :rotfl:
