In this thread, post pictures you snapped of things on a vehicle (if you say it isn't yours, we'll know you're lying ) that were very much not good. We've all been there, and this is a safe place.

I'll start us off with a picture of my passenger side outer tie rod. It literally came apart as I was removing it. I don't know how it didn't fail in place. That could have been bad.

That sucks. Yet to have a fail like that, mine break at the threaded portion

Defective metallurgy. Those are Comp Cam aftermarket vlave springs from my Camaro, and that series apparently was prone to that sort of failure. I lucked out that when it broke it was just the top most coil so it didn't drop the valve. Heck it still ran fine, just had an abnormal clicking. I had to buy new springs and replace all of them.

I was looking for some other pictures of my goofups or problems I found but I apparently deleted some of them.

When my diff blew out last year when the pinion locking bolt decides to take a vacation.

Hit a small bump in the road followed by something hitting the fender liner with a thud then going tink tink tink in the road behind me. Went back and found something in the road.

Looked underneath and saw the passenger side had something where the drivers side was missing something.

Today on my son's '98 Accord. Ball joint broke and then carnage. Luckily it happened in the parking lot of the pizzeria he works at. I just dragged it to a spot out of the way. So, broken ball joint, axle, end link and brake line. Next stop, scrap yard...

So my buddy was driving down the interstate in his Ford F150 EcoBoost ClubCab, when some minor smoke started coming out from under the dash. He pulled over, and this is all thats left..
