So here is the Official Sound of Tri-State Dover "Car Show / Meet" Thread........
The event is May 20th (it's a Sunday). The Location is Dover, DE. Registration is $20 if you wish to show.
Otherwise it is free to spectate and chill.


Address is 411 Legislative Avenue. Dover, DE. 19901.

I would be taking 95 south to Rt. 13 or Rt. 1 depending upon where the address is actually in Dover.

I agree with Dan, I am probly just gonna bring snacks and drinks. I am pretty sure they do have a food vendor though. We can always have someone who is not showing do a McD's run too (just a thought, haha).

If my memory is correct: when we get off route1, the destination is very close. i.e. we wouldnt be on 13 for too long, it's mostly route1. I think there is a toll at that route1 "off-exit", maybe we could meet just pass the toll, whatya all think?

I had the truck tuned for better fuel econ. and proformance. ( It's not a race truck. )

It has an LED 3rd brake light and drls.

Also, it has an 1.5" body lift and t-bar crank and shackles from smaxx along with wheels and tires from an 09 Canyon giving it around 3.5" of lift.

Shit.... i just got pulled over on my way to school for my front window tint does anyone know what will happen if i rip it off, get it inspected, get it done again, and than whatif i got caught the second time? lol. is that when id get the citation?? Citation=$130

Dan it would depend on the officer and what the MD state law says about window tinting. If the officer that pulled you over says it's too dark then you have to remove it or risk getting pulled over everytime an officer sees it.

I would suggest looking up what the law or laws are about tinting.

Ya he gave me a warning a said i have to take it off, get it inspected, signed off on, and than brought to the police station to turn in the paperwork that i was checked out. Im wondering if i got it re tinted after that and got caught, would it be an automatic ticket
either way i guess its gotta come off haha

Ok guys, got some new info. Pre-registration is via the link in the first post, or you can go to any Sound of Tri-State location and pre-register there. Pre-registration is $20. You can also register the day of the show, cost for that will be $30. ShowCars will be allowed to start parking at 9am. Judging starts at Noon.


Looking at the map below, Court Street is where we wanna turn onto. There is a WAWA on Rte 13 at the Corner of Court Street. This will be our meet spot!! Meet time will be between 8:30 and 8:45...
