Just left the Mall of America with the wife, she had to run to work and it's a few mins away. I bought a small rootbeer float. Nice name change

You boycotting it?
Yes. Sort of. I just hate that we do this. It shows how materialistic we are and how much stuff is really marked up. I dislike the crowds and more. For a very short time after AT&T moved my department out of the country, I was a regional safety coordinator for a large (read THE largest) retailer. When asked about safety, I said it's easy. Don't let everyone in at once. Measure it at about 50 people every 5 or so minutes. They didn't want any part of it. That same year, a store that bordered my territory had a problem in the parking lot. A customer was killed over a TV. In one of my stores, punches were thrown and an employee got hit, landing him in medical care. I wasn't long for that job, so I told him to sue and I'd back him. I printed the emails about it and threw them away since they were too cheap to supply us with a shredder. Oops - the affected employee took them out of the trash.

Nice read. I like your "oops" moment.

Around here, the target does the metering thing I believe. I know if you want in when the doors open for the sale you have to get in a maze of a line and wait forever to get to the doors.
