So...it seems my Polaris may be an older version of the Indy then initially thought.

what do you mean?
Well when I first got it I thought it was between 93-97 since I could not locate a sn on it during initial inspection. But I have since learned that it's actually an early Gen 1 machine that was built between '84-87 according to the group over on the vintage sleds forum. They pointed out several older style parts on it. Basically it seems to be an early Gen 1 with later mid 90s style graphics.

Projectors are finally back together. Still need to install them. Looks like the old style shroud will need a lot of trimming as it about 1" past the lens when mounted on the projector. Looks like the tabs on the inside is hitting the mounting bracket for the lens. I might be able to trim the inner tabs and the base to get them to fit.

After test fitting, I see why TRS went to the new design. Its does not look as good, but it is more compact and flexible for smaller applications like fog lights.

Haven't called certifit yet. They have it aftermarket.
Damn that's expensive. $150 seems like a hell of a deal.

My wife had other ideas. I was miles behind and got off right at bumper to bumper gridlock.

Ya those tabs all got chopped off and the bottom cut then widen the top whole so it will slide further down the projector thats how I did it a also contacted a company to see if they had some extra shrouds

No, didn't order it yet, cleaned throttle body, engine bay, and added some more blue wiring conduit in to clean up some wires near the battery and fuse box

All fine and good until the inevitable run in with the RCMP and find myself facing a fine if not jail time and a sled in the impound lot.

Protesters are a joke. Way to defend a criminal.

So you have no vin so no ownership? That's not good. You may outrun them, here's a good video on a news channel, yes those are police believe it or not.

That would be why the first thing I do to it will be removing the vinyl on the tunnel to expose the Vin...

Haha goofballs. Hopefully they don't have to chase a real sled rider. Easy to kill yourself doing >40+ mph. We both know how fast some will go
