Well you have to sand all the chrome off of it and use the plastic primer it works pretty good

What kinda wheel/tire setup you gonna run with the body lift?

Here's my repair/to-do list: (no mods)
-Fix patch/leak located in the bottom of radiator
-New gas cap
-Evaporative Emission Canister Vent Solenoid Valve
-Blend door actuators
-New alternator
-Clean throttle body
-Alignment
-Brake fluid flush and refill

*sigh*
Geez bro

I used primer, I sanded and thoroughly cleaned the surface. Get a non chrome bar if you want to color match.

Trust me on that one.

Also there is no sanding the chrome off or removing the chrome from that bar.

Yeah a long list......makes me not enjoy my rig as much anymore. Always afraid of breaking something too

Atleast you don't have a long ass list of stuff like I have to do....

Oh, I do have a list, it's just not as long as yours. I'm miles behind on maintenance and a few repairs..

Example of how far behind on some repairs...needed stepper motors for over a year. Needed thermostat since before we got it.

Atleast you trust it to go 400 miles on your long hauls, I don't trust mine anymore to even start sometimes...

Lol nah, ever since the battery swap she has acted very strange

Every time I start it it'll either crank right away or struggle for a second, seems sluggish at times, especially in the cold, putting the defrost on kills the engine

This one, which isn't for our rigs btw, is 650, compared to 700 on the old one

This has me to believe it's my alternator again. I might as well replace it, I can't think another why my digital voltage gauge fluctuates so much, lowest is 12.4, then will go up to 13.5-13.2 when driving, then drop as a decelerate

That's still your throttle body bro. Defrost kicks on the AC pump and the rpm drop from the AC pump is enough to kill it.

I am going to AutoZone to grab some throttle body cleaner tomorrow. Maybe paint the intake resonator blue while it's off too

Really, I have only a total of around 15. But, it's more Colorado culture to have a crap ton of stickers on EVERYTHING. :rotfl:
You guys should see some cars around here...mine is actually pretty modest.
