Where is this valve located?

*sigh* More stuff on the "parts needing replacement list" now....

It is right above the gas tank. There is a wire harness connected to it and a vent line on the other. Mounts in place with a plastic clip I believe.

I think my thermostat is sticking open a little bit, last tank was under 14MPG but I think the fact that I have a short drive to work really kills that. Seriously, I live 5 miles away.

I could have a sticky fan clutch too, a couple weeks ago when it was -10* a hard run from 40-80 once it was warmed would make the coolant temp gauge drop 50*

Any idea what mpg you get on the interstate? I have a bad thermostat and can pull 18-22 outta my ass every trip on the interstate lol. Not sure what it gets on highway though.

Depends on where you live. If you live in California you really don't want a gutted cat. A lot of the shops check when you go thru smog / emissions check. And you don't want it to fail because it's costly and a pain in the ass.

Yeah, I know. Just haven't gotten around to doing maintenance on her yet.

So I filled my truck up with gas this morning and right when the pump clicked off, i heard gas hitting the ground, looked under my truck and there was a small puddle of gasoline drivers side about midway of the transmission. I guess i will be putting her back up in the air and fixing a EVAP line somewhere.
