Welp got no air in main vents now....fml....blend doors fucked

And thus battery is making my truck's rpms act weird. I don't like it. I'll get the right battery next paycheck. Atleast it runs for now though.

Its most likely since you had the electrical system reset. when I cleaned my throttle body it did the same for a while and finally corrected itself give it a bit

Starting to feel like I live south of the border  , 10 BK nugz $1.79, fill up truck for $59.00, getting new brakes all around, rotors(coated), pads(ceramic) rubber boot kits from work with a discount for around $300. Now If I could only get Budweisers for cheap I'd be real happy...

I turned the vent knob to the window defrost and it shuttered to 420RPMs and fluctuated back up to normal range...., wtf. But the blend door actuators aren't gonna fix themselves

Definitely the throttle body, not the battery's fault. Gotta clean her or deal with it randomly dying for a while until the computer learns that the throttle body isn't clean.

Defrost turns on the AC pump which is what made the motor bog. If you turn the wheels while the AC pump is on, it'll probably die. That's what happened to me when we first got the TB after disconnecting the battery for some work.

Thanks for that input Garth; so this is normal behavior..sort of? So might as well clean ths throttle body now huh? Too bad my vents aren't blowing air except for the floor now though *sigh*

After your battery took a shit and sat over night, yes, normal behavior. Likely dropped voltage completely or just low enough to not support the PCM and thus reset it making it think the throttle body is clean and tune itself as such.

Unhook battery or pull PCM fuses while you clean the throttle body to make it reset again in case it's starting to learn that it's dirty again. Can't exactly remember the PCM fuse names on the fuse box lid...there's two...something like "PCM1" and "PCM A". I can look tomorrow if you need me to and get the right names/numbers.

I remember which fuses. I'm just pissed about my vents, but I had to risk it and use this temporary battery.

No not my truck old blue does that when you first start it and if you try to switch it to another setting. I know thats the problem but no time to fix it

Watch this, I'm sure you've seen it but it'll be a good refresher. The harness on my t-body was a bitch and I couldn't get it loose until I took the t-body off to get a better angle at it.

I've already removed it before when I put a throttle spacer in. But might as well clean it now since the pcm is in derp mode

This was a text exchange from my ex-gf and I when we were talking more and I believe both of us were thinking about getting back together. I blurred her name because I put it on my FB for our friends. Most knew her by her initials.
