Nice. Love tactically acquired items. New or used?Capote said:Yes I "tactically acquired" one sir
Nice. Did you happen to have the battery tested to make sure it is good before trying to install it. Just saving you a headache later.Capote said:Nah, trust me. That one wouldn't of anyway....
EDIT: it is used, but looks in great shape Dave
Damn that sucks. I thought all aftermarket TB lights were sealed with butyl. Did you get them from a different supplier/manufacturer?Aarkon said:Ya the lights I have aren't butyl so im having to cut it and sell the extra set to buy a different pair and the voys lights will be singles to start then see if I want quads since they are a little offset it may look goofy

If you want to sink down use a narrower tire. So if you've got rain or lighter snow I'd want to thin tire. If I'm going across the sand, off-road, or 6 inches or more of snow, I'd want a wider tire. Kyle I will bet is also using pretty deep tread tires. I think when most people are talking about narrower tires for snow they're not comparing them to off-road tires.dmanns67 said:Yeah, me either. I get the concept of having a wider tire provides more traction on a dry surface which is the reason why race cars or drag cars use a wide tire.
The same goes for AT/offroading tires. Most of the ones I have seen are 255 and wider. Offroading in mud would be a definition of a slippery condition, but when people talk about snow its like the same does not apply.
Basically from what I have read it appears that if you have a wider tire with more surface area you have more of a chance to lose traction than say a tire that is 235 wide. The consensus seems to be a wider tire is better in every condition except for snow which I do not understand.
Just like with everything else on the internet, I have read mixed opinions. Some say wider is better in slipper conditions and others disagree.
Well, whore, is it working yet?Capote said:Yes I "tactically acquired" one sir
Looking forward to seeing what you've got and how they look soon.Aarkon said:Ya the lights I have aren't butyl so im having to cut it and sell the extra set to buy a different pair and the voys lights will be singles to start then see if I want quads since they are a little offset it may look goofy

Same deal with Sam's Club too.SnowBlazer said:So found out today that you can not borrow a family member's Costco card. Even if they share the same last name. Your card has to have your picture on it.
So i guess they let you shop and when it was time to check out they wanted to see your card? Sam's Club checks your card at the door,SnowBlazer said:And the cashier supervisor was extremely unprofessional about it. To rub salt in the wound.
It's the exact same procedure as SAMs. Show your card at the door, but those people just check if you HAVE a card. At check out, you show the checker your card. And the checker takes a closer look.dmanns67 said:So i guess they let you shop and when it was time to check out they wanted to see your card? Sam's Club checks your card at the door,
