Been thinking hard about doing a retrofit on the Mustang. Ever seen the standard h1 projectors in the closeouts section on TRS? I saw a thread on hidp last night where someone used them and tbh they had great output, nothing like some fx-r's or mini h1's but it was pretty good and the wow factor to me is the price. I don't have a lot of money to throw around and I'm a cheap sob so those are perfect for me lol. I'll get a link to the thread.

Thinking either the standard h1's or B-stock. Really leaning towards the standard h1's though because I don't know shit about fixing a projector like I'd have to do for the B-stock ones.

As long as they have good output I dont see the problem. I know TRS has some cheap priced projectors in the closeout section. Go with a cheap set for your first. What year is your stang?

Projectors is NOT tech talk in regards to a GMT forum. If you want projector tech talk go to HIDP forum. All of the tech talk you cannhandle about projectors.

1998. I really don't wanna put a lot of money into it because it's got 17x,xxx miles and idk how much longer it'll hold out.

I dont blame you. Thats why I do not want to do a projector retro on the wife's F150. She can stick with 4300k HIDs for now. If we end up getting her a Jeep, I will def retro those :yes:

I seen that last night actually. I think it looks dumb without the projector shroud and he painted the high temp tape around the projector instead of using a shroud. Looks like $hit IMO.

It makes no sense to me for him to take so much time painting and then skipping out on shrouds :crazy:
