This question might be more for Kyle but as I am compelling my list for mods, I'm researching hi lift jacks...are our trucks able to handle those? Watching one of May's videos on how our stock jacks aren't suited even for a wheel swap got me thinking as well... :undecided:
Though this isn't a tech thread...The hi lift jack will work with our platform, though should not be used for changing a tire... There are no true stable places for this under normal conditions. You can find more on it at ORTB or start a thread for it here.

I did.

For Chris - this guys is nuts thinking he's getting $1500 bucks for his SS rims. I emailed him. Asked for pics. He wants my # to send them to me. Told him to post, if I was interested I'd ask for his number. I usually find that most people overstate whats left on the tires unless they're using a depth gauge. Probably has 10% and 50% left on the tires. I also want them original, not anodized or painted.

I'm kinda wondering about the major difference in tread...does he not believe in rotations?

He probably wore out the front, replace them, and continued to wear the rear with newer fronts. Or he did rotate after too many hole shots and burn outs.

If I have the choice of buying new or used rims for the same price I will buy new. People seem to think the OEM wheels are rare and valuable? Mostly people just look for the OEM to get them cheaper. The reps are very affordable.

I would definitely go aftermarket... not really a fan of the SS wheels. Not bad for stock but far better out their cheaper IMHO

I agree, I think people need to think outside the box and realize that SS wheels aren't the only wheels out there.

Yeah, but there are some good looking wheels available for our bolt pattern. CarID seems to have quite a selection, TireRack seems limited, got my wheels & tires from them.

If I was lowered I would likely run 5 spokes. Just always liked them.

Are they from another vehicle you had or did you just happen to purchase them a while back?

A little diddy I just threw together. Sing it to the tune of Jingle Bells.

Sliding thru the snow,
in a 4 wheel Chevrolet,
In the forums we go,
Whoring all the way.

LEDs on dashboards lit,
Making interiors bright,
That's a deer you hit,
Holy crap what fright.

Oh, Trail Bla-zer, Trail Bla-zer
I see that check engine light,
I'll get you fixed,
I promise it,
Just get me home tonight, Hey!

Lol I have a questionably acceptable excuse. :raspberry: With all of tapatalks issues I'm not sure that it actually sends in reported posts so I wanted to post about it so a mod would see my post and could ask me where the spam was in case they didn't see it.

Is that a good excuse? :rotfl:

I just seen the spam and reported the posts as well via tapatalk. We shall see if it goes through.

That makes three spam accounts in a couple days

Another version I just threw together. Again, sing it to the tune of Jingle Bells.

Window switch recall,
And headlights might go dark,
With all the GM problems,
I should just leave it in park.

Envoys had their problems,
Trailblazers did too,
Buicks, SAABs and Oldsmobiles,
And even an Isuzu

Oh, GMC GMC
Why can't you fix this crap,
From fuel sensors to
Radio buttons
I'm just about to snap, Hey
GMC GMC
Why can't you fix this crap,
From fuel sensors to
Radio buttons
I'm just about to snap.
