No power after stereo pulled out.

Will need some more info so a couple of questions:

Vehicle (model & year)?

Have you tried to reattach the stereo to see if that restores anything?

When you say no power, are you referring to no power at all (e.g. dome lights) or just no crank/no start?

Do you know if the non-Bose stereo (brand/model?) is a plug & play replacement for the OE radio or if there were wiring/harness mods required?

I'd be looking at the ignition switch. May be coincidental that it could have failed when you pulled the radio.

Did you replace the stock radio with something else? Try disconnecting it. Could be the interface that's messing up the CANBUS communication line. As mentioned by @azswiss , try putting the original radio back.

Do explain more the no power.

why did you pull the radio? Maybe there was some "back feeding" happening for voltages and when its gone, so is the "back feeding".... maybe check fuses.

Yes, like has been said already, recheck your work and also reinstall and see what happens. Since the stereo only works with the ignition turned on, there may be some weird way the stereo was wired when installed.

And yes, post some vehicle info.......or is it a secret? For all we know, you are working on a FORD and there is your problem....right there!
