Yup, the handle to recline the seat to be exact, see i measured the distance from the face of the door panel to the top of the flush ring to be 2" and that gave me 1/2" of clearance between that handle and the ring... Well the ring is made in 2 parts both of witch is 3/4" MDF... So a total of 1 and a half inches, so i needed a 1/2" stilt to mount the ring to... Well i didnt write my measurements down and ended up only remembering the number 2" so i cut the stilt 2" and that was ALL BAD! And to make it worse my dumbass never test fit it after the mockup stage,[emoji33] which would have let me correct the mistake right then and there, well needless to say i didnt make that mistake this time

:undecided: So lemme see if I get the general idea here. Get your frame situated the way you want it, then stretch that fleece material over it and secure it so it more or less has the contours you want. Soak it with FG resin so it becomes solid when it dries and holds the shape, then build it up with chopped mat and more resin for strength. Apply the preferred finish finish, paint/carpet/vinyl, and then enjoy? :book:

I think that's pretty freaking sweet. So now I guess I have to save up money for tools, and materials for practicing. This could potentially kill my LED mod bug, cuz I don't think a fiberglass and LED mod bug would survive together under the same roof  :Boxin:

Edit: I may have missed it before, but how are you splitting up your signals for each speaker? 3 way crossover in each door? Fancy sound processor somewhere else?

Now I know why the panel wasn't cut out, it was to use the pocket part to separate the midbass from the woofer. Pretty slick man.

[emoji16]well thank you may03lt, and shadow, with the addition of a JBL GTO 3ez this is how the seperation is happening, im goin activewith the amps for now later there will be a rockford 360.3 processor added, but here it goes ImageUploadedByTapatalk1399602016.997476.jpg
The top row left to right is a gto 804, it will be on the front doors, the front channels are running the 6" midrange and tweeter, the back channels are on the 8" midbass... Themiddle amp is a gto 504, this is actually bridged on the back doors for the 6" midrange, then the amp thats GOING to the left is a gto 3ez this is a 3 channel amp a 2 channel with a 500 watt monoblock, the front 2 channels are on my jbl 3" in the dash and the monoblock is gonna power the P3 shallow 10's in the front doors & the p3 shallow 8's in the rear doors, all of which are dual 4's so final impedence is 2 ohm on the monoblock side, now the bottom row is a set of gto 1001's one on each sub at 2 ohms, the power series jbl's are temporary, i am going with rockford T1 12's

Well ya gotta be smart enough to plan ahead for it, i am gonna remove the 6" use some aluminum stock(wont rust incase of water) use some stainless steal bolts and locking nuts and make some straps bolted to the map pocket and use them as hangers and left the door back up in place, i believe the front door panels weigh about 45 lbs with all speakers in!

Oh, so the door panel is what's sagging... I thought you meant the door hinges weren't holding the door up, and it was coming out of alignment due to the weight of all that hardware

I got some wiring work done tonight after work... Got the last amp in, wired up the door subs to it, moved the the 3.5's from the 804's back channels to the 3 channel where it was intended to go along with the door subs, and wired the 8" mid bass to the rear channels on the 804 where they were intended to be, so with that bein said here is a pic of what it now looks like with the last amp in the amp rack, once i have the door subs back in (hopefully tomorrow) i will post a video of the progress and how the doors sound, and a distance test on clarity

So how did you end up bracing your doors to support the weight of the new mods? :undecided:
