Maybe get some other ideas, but the wife is not wanting too much modding. I really want to swap to led and put some tint on the front windows.

Those are already in my cart at eBay, LEDs for both low and high. Tint has been on my mind want it to match the rear when I do it though.

I went to get the cross bars and all weather mats and she says here take to cargo cover also.

Nice. I have not found much locally for ours. I think I have the interior leds in stock. Not sure on doing anything with headlights yet.

The LED headlights? I have not seen enough to justify the cost and have seen a few go back to HID, so i think I will go that way if I do anything.

So while waiting on the new parts to come in. I did the Meguair's Headlight Cleaning kit today and it works! Not Hard to do. Now I just have to get some HIDs!!!

@Venomhatch are those halogen or HID projectors? Based on the color, looks like halogen. I have seen pics/read how bad LEDs look in projectors, at least ones designed for HIDs.

If they're projectors, go with HID's. The problem with LED's in projectors IIRC, is that the LED's aren't 100% 360° light, so you'll have spots.

I know that HID and halogen projectors have slightly different designs, as the light source for the different types of bulbs are in different locations. That's why they tell you, you can't just stick an HID bulb in a halogen projector and have it look good. The light source will be out of position for the focal point of the projector's reflector bowl.

The comparisons I've seen with HID vs LED bulbs in projectors were all using HID projectors, haven't seen someone use a halogen one. I'd be interested to see what the output looks like, if you go that route.

I have seen pics of people who threw in a HIDs in a halogen projector and the output was awful, but this was in cheap EBay aftermarket "projector" headlight. I would imagine the Acadia has a much better OE projector than the EBay junk.

If you are set on upgrading, I would try HIDs before LEDs. Maybe buy a cheap pair of HIDs and do some comparison shots 25' away from the wall with the halogens installed then the HIDs and see how the output is. What is the headlight base for your low beams?

Any performance mods for these? I especially like the newer facelifted Denalis but a 3.6 liter V6 just doesn't sound like much fun in such a heavy vehicle. Don't understand why the 4.3 liter or even the 5.3 liter are not even options.

Its 280+ HP stock w 4600 lbs. Not too bad really. A SWB 360 is almost identical and they have been proven pretty fun.

So I just got back from the dealership in a rental car turns out my transmission casing is leaking thank God I have an extended warranty. Better to catch it now and only pay $200 for my deductible or in the pay $3000-$4000 for brand-new transmission later!

Me? No. It's a nice car, but when riding in my Acadia it feels spaced out. The SRX seems like being on top of each other like back the TB days! I might look at an Escalade in the future if I look at Cadillacs. Or perhaps Yukon Denali XL!

HIDs I took the blue 8000k out and put in the 6000k white ones in. I noticed a huge brightness to it then.

How many wires, and what colors are they? Can you trace where it goes?

I think 8 wires. Colors i see red, blue, black and i think white. Goes upwards in quarter panel.
