Hvac question

In the last couple weeks the when the blower is on one of the 3 higher speeds it seems to be louder and seems to vibrate more than it has been in the past.I also hear a snapping sound once in awhile that seems to come from passenger side dash.Do you think this would be a blower motor issue or something else causing.Every thing still works i still have heat and all speeds.Thank you for your help.

Either the blower motor is on its way out or possibly something is caught in the squirrel cage, throwing it out of balance. Should be easy enough to pull it out and check. Once out, connect a 12V power source and see how it goes

Typically a dead mouse or squirrel nuts. Be prepared for it if you're sensitive to dead animal fragments.

The poor squirrel must have been hit by the spinning blade.
