206k km, replaced the other one. So basically got 50k km out of them. Not much really. I replaced it with a spare from my old TB that had 100k on it. It's a Timken. Unfortunately the ABS sensor was broken and the one from the dead hub doesn't fit. I'll have to grab one from a yard. Need to find spare hubs.

I have played with the less expensive bearings and at the most part got a year out of them. Moog, timken or SKF give me time to deal with the rest of the problems that GM built in the vehicles

My left front is ready to be replaced after 2 years and 20K miles. It was replaced under aftermarket warranty at a local shop but I'm sure it was CCC. The right was replaced under aftermarket warranty at the dealer Jan 2014 @ 151K, meaning it now has 45K on it.

I'm getting ready to order one. Or a pair. TRQ for $50/ea with a lifetime warranty, or a pair from Detroit Axle (New HD version) for $70 with a lifetime warranty.

Looking ahead at a possible hub replacement. Considering Moog ($167.58 CAD), TRQ ($123.44CAD) from Amazon. I can also get a Dorman ($152CAD) and the WJB ($116CAD) from another online parts house.

Anybody have any experience with any of these? My old go-to Timken is overpriced and doesn`t really last that long, SKF is really overpriced and quality has tanked. Any other recommendations?

I put some Autoshack front hubs on my 2005 Trailblazer a couple years ago and they seem to hold up fine. Also just got an Autoshack radiator for the 2005 installed last month.

Autoshack is actually local to me and have experience with them. Their hubs have not been good to me, lasting only about 6-12 months. I have had their radiators before and no problems there. Do not buy their brake pads as they are made of recycled paper and their rotors are leftover slag.

I had the backing plate from an Auto**** brake pad fall off, after installation! That was fun! I'd heard about it happening to others, but it had never happened to me. I replaced all the Didn'tLast pads with TRQ's from 1A Auto, and 3 years later they're still working fine! I usually have pretty good luck with Auto**** parts, but I'll never buy their brake pads again!

based on the thread and the "long list" of possibles, it appears the effort is a crap shoot. I don't have any better suggestion, I went cheap from ebay (To ont) and hope. The front take a beating when I tow as the equalizer pushes lots of weight forward. Its still working but its only been thru "one year".

At $68CAD, that ain't bad. If it fails, at least it's half the price than from Amazon.

Anyway, it won't be for a while. It hasn't thrown the ABS error for a few days and weather is not pleasant.

The seller indicated that it comes with 12 month warranty... but not sure whether it would be worthwhile as return shipping would eat up any monies quickly.

PS... thanks again for your scanner help with this back then as it pointed specifically to the bad side and cut my effort and guessing.

Use OEM ONLY. Ive gone though 3 sets of the chinese ones before and its not worth it.

I would like to but they're the most expensive but I do agree about the CCC hubs. Sometimes though you have to balance between cost and quality/longevity.

Been reading that Moog isn't that good. The latest set I installed were from AutoShack. Don't remember when or how many KM but it hasn't been that long, maybe 50K km at most. There's a reason they're only $100CAD for the pair.

Just looking through RA, I noticed that the Mevojunk TTX are only $80CAD but the shipping is $25. Checked other places online and I can get them from Parts Avatar (Canada) for a little more at $114 w/free shipping. I am considering these even though I hate Mevojunk with a passion but then I am a sucker for punishment. It would be a good test for longevity and have a lifetime warranty so there's that.

Need to replace the front wheel bearing hub. Does any Canadian's on here have any experience with Canadian tires Pro Series OE hubs? I'm leaning towards that for the 2 year warranty or WJB .

The GM ones are expensive but if you buy them from an authorized retailer like RockAuto you get a lifetime warrenty.

Also they just last longer then any other hub since they are oem.

If you are just looking to sell the truck then just get the cheapest one there is
