Hello all,

I'm still getting my P0171 code around 50 miles after clearing the code on my 2006 4.2 with 62,000 original miles.
To refresh everyone's memory, the following was done to date:
1. Replace air filter
2. Add fuel injector cleaner to gas 2x.
3. Remove and clean throttle body (with re-learn).
4. Replace front oxygen sensor (with AC Delco).
5. Replace MAF Sensor (with AC Delco).
6. Replace SAIS Solenoid check valve (with AC Delco).

The truck starts, runs & idles fine.

Below is the freeze-frame data I have copied from my code reader (unfortunately, no live data is available)

P0171
Fuel System 1
Closed Loop
Calculated LOAD
29.8%
Engine Coolant Temp
195 Degrees F.
STFT Bank 1
4.6%
LTFT Bank 1
24.2%
Intake Manifold Pressure
11.2 in.hg
Engine RPM
613 RPM
Vehicle Speed
0 mph
Ignition Timing
4.5 degrees
Intake Air Temperature
77 degrees F.
Mas Air Flow Sensor
000.62 lb./min
Throttle Position
13.3%

What do you guys think? I'm really starting to go crazy here. I bought new spark plugs, the AC Delco Iridium ones, but haven't thrown them in yet. I will probably replace the plugs and do a new throttle body gasket at the same time... when i cleaned the throttle body, I re-used the existing gasket.

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!

Sounds elementary I know but when was the last time you changed your fuel filter. Does the truck hesitate when taking off from a stopped position? I pumped some bad gas one time and my car threw so many codes it was ridiculous. I tried fuel cleaner injector cleaner turns out the bad gas clogged up my fuel filter.

The OP has a 2006, so the filter is inside the tank.
